  1. I really enjoyed the whole expansion. It was like Legion without a constant AP grind. Too bad you checked out of the quests because the blue dragonflight GY quest was so touching. I enjoyed the hell out of the entire Centaur quest line as well. The sense of Culture was so well done in this expansion. Better than any. If I could change ONE thing in addition to the changes coming in the next expansion would be that if you get a mythic tier piece you should get the tmog of the easier versions.

  2. if you think the quest werent memorable thats because you were rushing, lore and narrative wise they rarely been this good this consistently

the campaings been all pretty impresive despite a few weak spot, and at the side quest lvl from the first zone you have amazing example of good little tale tales, like the old dwarf dragon or the two orcs

if you stop to role playing part of the mmo and engage with the story they dont disapoint, not even when they get cheese

  3. in terms of shadowlands and dragonflight, Shadowlands had the most beautiful aesthetic visuals in the game. Dragonflight had less-refined visuals which was good for it's overall design as it's an ancient isle being awoken after thousands of years

  4. My feeling with Dragonfeeling is that there is nothing to do and it's just plain boring. Don't get me wrong, I do NOT want AP back. The core gameplay is just login, do some fetch quests like kill 10 enemies and collect 5 items and that's the content for the week. The fetch quests are always coming in a different skin but they are just a snoozefest after all. An extremely surprising fact is that most WoW players spend over 50% of their time in a 'lobby creation' screen (let it be raid, m+, pvp).

Some of you will probably say that "Hey but this is an MMO, what else do you expect?". This is the job of the game developers and this was Blizzard biggest strength in the past: creating new, fun ways to spend time in the game that are mostly copied from other games. Look at FF14 for example: the game offers like a dozen different option to spend your time that are not tied to player power. WoW should follow the idea of revamping pet battles, revamping and re-introducing archeology, introducing player housing, re-introducing Timeless Isle type of content, fixing professions (I like the Dragonfeeling design of professionsand it's a step in the right direction but it has some inherent issues that need to be fixed), perhaps do something about the Darkmoon Faire to make it a real faire with timed activities. However don't add more kill X enemies type of fetch quests (unfortunately Delves are going to be exactly that). Current WoW is extremely outdated, stale and just can't compete with other games. Hell, even when I played Palworld for 2 weeks I had a blast and discovered many small things that made me think: "This could actually fit really well into WoW".

  5. This video makes me realize that I'm playing a different game to you 😅

All I do at max level is Arena. So I only really judge the game based on how the arena is.

I'm still having fun in DF. Could be better. But I'm happy enough with it

  6. I hate dragon riding so much dude. Why can't I just go up without having to farm energy it's so annoying. Then you run out of energy and just fall out of the sky. It's fkn awful

  7. I've been playing wow since vanilla on and off. Usually, at the start of the expansion for a couple of months and then leave, and return at the end and so on. However, Dragonflight is the first expansion I've played monthly (as little time I had) since launch. First expansion where I got Curve in every season and the PvP Mount. Alts and Professions are finally good!

  8. Slowing down leveling does not help anyone, retail is 99% what u do on max level, and the fact that df allows ppl to easily have alts is great, slowing leveling would only be an inconvenience. Having more interesting quests could lead to ppl doing em even on max level, so no need to slow leveling

  9. I hated shadowlands and still put more time into it than DF. Maybe I was too jaded by the time it launched, but all up Ive played less than 3 months. Zero interest and TWW is the first expac I will not be pre-odering and not remotely exited about. Games shit tbh.

  10. As an outdoor world solo player primarily, Dragonflight misses for me on several points:
    1. Upgrade system – the crest/Flightstones balance is awful. It’s very easy to get enough crests you want from world quests, but the Flightstones are the bottleneck. Which I’m told is the opposite for people who do raids/m+. And having to consult a spreadsheet to know what upgrades you can get from where is a pain.
    2. Outdoor zones – Zareth Mortis was the best outdoor zone since Timeless Isle, and both Zaralek Caverns and Emerald Dream pale in comparison. Less to do, overall.
    3. Too much ground clutter – disturbed dirt, tuskaar toolboxes, expedition bundles, etc.

  11. As aug evoker for season 3 will say just hitting ebon migh on cool down and not keeping timer up means you actually trolling reduces over all of every to the point where you might aswell not have been there

  12. Firstly, I'm one of those players that will never understand why people think that leveling is too fast, nor how it somehow makes you engage less with your character. 2nd, while I'm not an officer in my guild, I know after playing this game for far (perhaps) far longer than I should have, that picking a person to give a legendary item to causes far more issues than it's worth. Most of them are entirely happy with them coming from personal loot drops or a quest because it takes the issue of "why'd they get it before me?!" and throws it out the window.

  13. Been playing off and on since Vanilla. Left pretty quick into SL, probably my least favorite expansion. Came back around S3 in DF. Have to say I have really been enjoying DF and share most of what you said. I like the new race Dracthyr but the lack of visual armor is a killer for me. Lots of possible ways to upgrade via crests. Really enjoy having multiple dragon mounts to use and customize on the way.

  14. This has been my least favorite expansion since vanilla and the one i just have no interest in. I played up until season 2. i really enjoy the new zones. But i really disliked the campaign, dragon riding and the raids to come after season 1. im not a fan of the mounts in this expac, and the game doesnt feel like warcraft to me

  16. Yeah I disagree definitely do not need the leveling to be slowed I thought it was perfect it was inspiring and very engaging while keeping attention and not growing boring except for the azure dragonflight felt a little slow to me with the whale people but I thought overall the expansion was very nice not too overwhelming which shadowlands definitely was made me not want to even try to finish or go any further with it after seeing the maw. add was straight forward and while the story wasn’t all there the gameplay in general was pretty good I liked it all after returning from cata and min maxing I seen the difference and evolved into the mythic dungeon heroic raiding. I did play a bit in legion and got my artifact plus order hall quest about finished but then left it again. I’m back into it and completely dazzled by the game. In an aotc good community guild and love it even more than before even with a little too much mechanics that I’m still mastering with WAs but I def don’t see myself leaving again for a long time as long as war within holds up to its potential.

  17. The main failure of SL is that it was war on casuals. Flying should be possible from the get go. Mounts were paid for. GODDAMN Blizz for the Pathfinder, play all our shit content or don't fly bullshit. Best thing about dragonflight..you could fly from the get go. I'll likely never get the old school flying, and while that is annoying, at least I CAN fly and do what I need to do. SL was far worse.
