  1. Baine should have had teeth with Alliance attacking, or going against Sylvanas much sooner.
There is this lore that was no explored in games, that Baine allegedly exiled Tauren who wanted to go against the Alliance after it burning camp Taurajo. Being so pacifist as to punish your own people for the attack of the enemies, that's something I will never understand. But this was long before Baine was even player known character. It was shortly after Cairne died. Baine didn't really have any in game model. He didn't have much if any quests with him. Most people would not notice that the big Tauren dude leader in Thunderbluff was now different. So it's likely that the writers back then didn't really take the lore too seriously either. But as far as I can tell, this was never retconned.
I don't know if Baine growing teeth now can fix this. This should probably be revisited. If Baine really exiled his own people after the Alliance murdered their families, then maybe he should undo this mistake somehow?
There are similar hanging threads like this. Like Jaina jailing Sunreavers in Dalaran after Garrosh ordered them to transport something for him (either the bomb, or the divine bell, can't recall which). As far as the lore goes, they were never released.
The lore is full of dead ends like this. Because of this, I have a hard time to even care too much for it. I like the Tauren race. I like that they are the most pacifist of the Horde. But Baine is being way to extreme and pushes this to cartoonish levels. And because of that, I don't care too much for him. Even if that is about to be subverted a bit, it's way too little, way too late. Even worse if the outcome is supposed to be: "oh hey, Baine actually learned to overcome his prejudices." Yeah, he, who has the least outgroup prejudice out of all characters in WoW, will get schooled on how prejudicial he is. It's like when Varian had to teach Tyrande, a character 10000 years older than him, the virtue of patience and wisdom. Ugh…
There were several expansions of Baine sitting on his ass, complaining "there is no honor in this", yet doing nothing. I consider his character to be way too tainted. Kinda like Thralls.

  2. Glad they brought the centaurs back in DF. Back then around classic and earlier xpacs, I remember interacting with them in the barrens. Idk why, they’re just nostalgic and remember how a pain they were.

  4. I appreciate everything Blizzard improving a lot of aspects of the game. As a m+ player though, I’m very deeply concerned about bugs that are yet to be addressed, visuals that are basically impossible to see given the right conditions, horrible overlap moments with affixes that deplete keys on the random, an overall the lack of route freedom and finally the terrible, terrible seasonal affix. I’ve already unsubbed as of yesterday and am not intending to return for S2 unless there are some drastic changes in the way Blizzard values dungeon only players.

  5. I quit wow in WOD. I played every other mom since and now back to wow in dragon flight and I can confirm that wow in its current state is in a better condition than another mmorpg. it's truly still the best. I don't know what exactly are people complaining about?
