As a newer WoW player (started a few weeks before this event, a friend asked me to try it) I've gotten railed by this event over and over, its not even fun anymore. Didn't farm the frogs to get infinite cloak stats / bronze so I'm stuck doing campaign stuff or grinding achievements for chump change in comparison. This update, they add spools for getting achievements, but you're SOL if you've already gotten them like myself. If they don't up the drop rate for bronze I'm just not gonna play anymore, its not rewarding enough for how much time you have to spend to get it. I've spent so much time getting bronze I was able to get a character to max level, while only getting 42k bronze in the process (granted I wasn't 'farming' dungeons or raids because I wanted to experience a 'new' campaign, I did a few but not many), might seem like a lot, but in reality it's nothing. I got 1 mount with all that bronze, and their is so much more cool stuff to get too like a ton of heroic and mythic raid transmog sets that I think are awesome. But I seriously do not want to grind that much again just for 1 item. I get it's a grindy game but god damn, 140k bronze to max a sword out? I'd have to play everyday for at least 14 hours for the remainder of the event just to max out a single weapon, its actually ridiculous. Do they expect every single player to be abusing these bronze farming methods?
there are world bosses? and they might drop good stuff?
I think they made it cost that much cause its an event that has like 88 days left and when its over its going over to the new expansion. So if people could get everything in like 10 days. There would be like 80days where many players would stop play cause they have nothing to do. I also heard that they think blizzard will later on change the bronze so you will get moore of it so you can buy moore stuff. I think the point of the event is to make alts, lvl fast. Get some nice stuff. Right now i will keep on farm with my lvl 70, have fun. I get like 10-15k bronze every time i play so that feels nice. Im going for all the mounts i dont have first. Then some transmogs. And then i will make alts. But thats how i see it
