World of Warcraft Shadowlands Review – I Hate it

Forgot to add to that quality of life. There’s no way to skip a quest after being stuck on it for some time. There was a quest in The Maw where I had to stay in range of someone who gives me stealth. Because so many players were doing it, and it lagged the server, we were constantly being kicked out of stealth and dying to the overtuned mobs there, and unable to progress as a result. If it has a maybe 10 min = auto finish this quest? Yes/no. Then that would solve a lot of bugs in the game. For every story and side quest in the game.

Another thing I disliked was the hype around this expansion. It really proved my point that you can’t expect Blizzard to do the right thing, because they have Activision in the way. Looking at my video on ‘Shadowlands Players Beware’ which was the most negatively received WoW video I made. A lot of what I said ended up becoming true. The developers didn’t listen to all feedback. They didn’t put the time and effort into the game despite the delay. Shadowlands is still unfinished. It feels as though it’s in beta. I don’t even want to give credit for things like, no launch day lag. Because they should have had that years ago before I even played the game. Why now have they only decided to fix these big problems? I’m not so easy to forgive because it seems like a tactic to draw in vulnerable players who think that somehow, papa Blizzard and uncle Activision is somehow going to solve all your problems. The marketing was also terrible. The lo-fi remixes which obviously are trend jumping. The animated shorts which are just slideshow presentations. And the play on nostalgia by bringing back old characters and using that as marketing, when in the entire story, I can only count max, two nostalgic characters have anything to do with the story. And one of them doesn’t appear until the very end of the story. These problems are everywhere. You watch, the next few patches, big and small, are just there to make the game worse. I guarantee it. They made the money from the expansion orders. Now they’re going to piss off with it.

One other thing I forgot to add. The armor sets are boring. Whilst there is technically 16 different looking sets, there are 4 recolors for each, making the total 64… compare that to Legion where in a Raid, you would have 4 sets for each class. With different shapes and sizes. And it is purely unique to the class.
