  1. So I just wanna throw my 2 cents out there, cuz I'm half and half on WoW as a whole.
The good: The professions, delves, warbands, reputations, world events, fantasy world, all of that is good. I like it. The game is in a pretty good state right now – I hope it continues this way.

The not so good: Honestly just boils down to the community. As a streamer or already high-level player, you will never experience this, but the community is SUPER gatekeepy. Try to get into a normal level raid, while wearing gear appropriate for that raid. You can't, people will only invite heroic or higher geared people, because most people doing the invites want to be carried. Same goes for heroic and mythic to an extent. Your solution is to put together your own groups – or join a guild and join a raid team. Except I've been declined from so so so many guilds, or I just don't fit in, or the guild barely even does content, or NOBODY is online until raid day.

Maybe I'm just unlucky but, in my experience I could not find a place in WoW that I feel comfortable and happy in, aside from just solo play. But in solo play alone, feels like I'm kind of just wasting my time and not enjoying what the game is meant for.

Theres also many many other issues in the community, ranging from general toxicity in chat, gold buying/selling, botting (good LORD the botting), m+ and arena boosting, its kind of just… not a great vibe when you look at the big picture. Its a bad feeling knowing that "Why play the game at all when so many others pay their way to win?" – Everything you do in this game is entirely transactional, nothing seems like its ever purely for fun.

I can only wish things were different but, Blizzard will never do anything about the problems I care about, therefore I'm feeling kind of forced out of the game because the overwhelming negativity heavily outweighs any glimmers of positivity in the community. Hate to end that on a sad note but, thats how I feel.

TLDR game is good, community I wish was better but probably never will be and Im sad.

  2. 0:42 so this idea plus the relativity game. Like the one where you use one word to get to the next but change a letter. Maybe there are multiple things that can come from a single item? That would be dope. Plus secret items to use and interact with.

  3. Damn you for making me want to play WoW again! I've been a player since the days of Warcraft and played everything else Blizzard did since then. I really lost hope in the game after Frozen Throne, the grind for EVERYTHING became to much.
Plus completing Raids was an absolute source of frustration and aggravation.
I'm taking your word one this BECAUSE you know the inner workings. Hell your father helped make the game incredible, so if I only hope it retains its quality and epicness throughout the expansion.
PS: How can I get into your Guild >:)

  4. The only things I don't like about TWW is the Nerubian zone doesn't feel alien enough, I wish it was more vertical and difficult to move in (weirdly enough) because it's a city of spiders. And the San'layn DK tree has a random pet I'm not fond of. I'm decidedly hopeful for the future of the game.

  5. Dragonflight felt like a "ok we need to start over, lets go do a smaller story thatll lead into what we want to do but focus on working out the technical limitations of what we can do" and it you can tell it worked out really well because Dragonflight was fun, this is fun, WoW FEELS like how it always wanted to feel right now imo

  6. My fav part about some of the things you liked is that a lot of this was already in Dragonflight. But I found a ton of people didn't give DF a chance so they wouldn't know. DF was pretty good too. This is just further building on the foundation it laid and it's fantastic.

Past reputations are being added to the warband later. They have to go backwards one expansion at a time and change them over.

  7. Let me offer a negative take you can skip now if you want to.

It's all been downhill since Legion. People are just coping. War Within is worse than Dragonflight. They said this is the start of an epic story, yet the MSQ is just a bunch of nonsense thrown together, and probably the shortest ever. What you should expect is WoW, but just less, more boring, more corporate. The story should be about adventure and war, yet it's all about relationships and teaching men how to be nice and feel their feelings . The gameplay hasn't evolved. It's just small solo dungeons that are going to get stale pretty quick.

  8. This expansion is amazing. It is such a breath of fresh air compared to Dragonflight and beats the absolute crap out of FFXIV Dawntrail on narrative and character development. Moira>>>>>Wuk Lamat and Xalatath>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sphene.

  9. Genuinely haven't enjoyed wow as much as I have with the early access this time around since legion. I haven't really found any of the story characters I absolutely hated or couldn't stand yet and I've even leveled up around 3 characters to 80 as of yesterday. As Thor himself said, I played the launch of bfa, shadowlands, and dragonflight and only hit the level cap in each and quit for the rest of the expansions each time because I'd bounce off them hard. I'm actually excited to see where they go with this and it might be copium but so far the start has been a blast. Only really sore point I have was the false advertising on earthen being avaliable in early access when in reality they're locked until next week.

  10. those skyriding glyphs dont update your dragon riding, u get it at 10 if u did dragonflight and u lvl it up as you lvl, up to 70. so when you enter TWW in at lvl 70 u are max dragonriding, all those glyphs are just for achieves

  11. I'm still going through the TWW Campaign and my Dracthyr is only level 73, so I don't have an opinion on the expansion yet. I'm enjoying what I've seen so far though!

Came into dragonflight earlier this year as a new player, and overall I enjoyed dragonflight, save for some shallow story moments.

  12. I love the 'Stay and listen' stuff. That way it's there for people that want more character interaction and can be skipped by those either not interested/ already viewed it w/out it being required to sit through to get the next quest.
