As Blizzard announced today, an update is currently in the works that will allow Alliance and Horde players to form parties together for dungeons, raids, and rated PvP. Though not available yet, the change is planned for release as part of an eventual 9.2.5 update sometime after the upcoming major patch, Eternity’s End.

PlayStation boss Jim Ryan says we should expect more studio acquisitions in the future, in the wake of today’s news that Sony is buying Destiny developer Bungie for $3.6 billion. GamesIndustry.biz’s Christopher Dring tweeted that Ryan said, “we should expect more” when it comes to further PlayStation acquisitions.

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will reportedly be taking the reins on reviewing Microsoft’s intended acquisition of Activision Blizzard – amid a more aggressive stance from the government agency on Big Tech mergers.

  1. this is a far cry of desperation to keep some players in that ruined long dead mmorpg, it died after wrath of the lich king, they should seriously delete the whole thing and just REMAKE the first trilogy and then continue it in a much better direction and forget cataclysm and the rest of garbage that ruined this beautiful mmorpg in the first place.
