  1. Meh. Not saying all this is bad or that it's not good, but the way they keep designing Retail is just repetitive and pointless to invest time into. The ''magic'' of WoW just isn't there anymore, it hasn't been for years, it's an empty, soulless game with tiresome and never-ending instant gratification reward systems stacked on top of each other. The game showers you in physical rewards like a damn Disney themepark, but there is no actual rewarding experience from gameplay itself. Only classic players, and players who play games which embrace worldbuilding, immersion, community, class/race fantasy and such will understand my point. This isn't Retail hate…just saying that because of the game's design…nothing feels like its worth doing as nothing has value.

  2. I know classic my main game, and the main focus of the channel, but retail's 20th anniversary patch is such a massive throwback to vanilla that I had to check it out. Do not worry, we will still be focusing on classic, I just think for anyone on the fence about checking out retail, if you're a classic andy like me, this patch is going to be an absolute BLAST. Also, come hangout on twitch when I'm live! Link in the description above.

  3. I'm so glad they've given us Timewalking Stratholme! Oddly, my favorite memories of that place were of soloing it with a level 70 Enhancement Shaman back in original BC with bits of Kara gear. It was hard work but I enjoyed it. As for BRD, I think I might enjoy this. BRD was far from my first real raiding experience but it did feel like one back in the really old 55 to 60 days because of the amount of time I spent there, then you had lower and upper spire afterwards. I never really experienced upper spire until I could do it solo with a hunter at 70+ in Wrath, it wasn't progression but I sure did spend progression time there because of how much gold it earned me. Anyway, I'm getting too nostalgic, I'll shut up now.

  4. Do we have a date for when it starts? I'm not currently subscribed (stopped mid way through DF) but want to come back for the anniversary to check it out. I suspect I'm going to need at least a few days to fix talents and get re-acquainted with the game :p
