  1. I’m on board with the idea of your warband fighting through the dungeon with you, but they shouldn’t get experience or loot benefits, and their item level & gear should be similar to the AI (just maintaining their transmogs). What if you’ve geared them badly? Chosen the wrong talents? I know this is less of a thing in modern Retail, but just as an example of how things could go wrong I think it makes more sense to standardise is.

Also, if it’s your own characters does that lessen the possibility of “witty banter” between NPCs? Would feel a little off to have words put in the mouths of my characters, compared to scripted things they could prompt influenced by the Exile’s Reach NPCs personalities.

  2. I believe evoker has a cooldown on "take flight" because it's also starts you with an upward flap, while a normal dragon "mount up" does not. The 10 second delay guarantees you have at least one vigor.

  3. agree 100% with all your points on follower dungeons. It was one of the best parts of my play through with FF14 – including dungeons as part of the story line questing/play through – absolutely amazing. I later would join group play in FF14 and would do the same with WoW. I really like the ability to test out other specs as well – fantastic job Blizz team

  4. The followers in dungeons has to be implemented to replace those bad healers that have no idea when to dispell/cleanse instead of trying to heal through massive dmg. Or the healers that keep standing in crap and they heal 80% of their healing… doing some heals on the tank and ignoring the DPS which has to be be 15-20 secs with no healing… Yeah, I've seen this in Season 1, 2 and 3 of Dragonflight… and specially in Season 3 with healers that jump from an 8+ key to a 16+ and have no idea what to do in the new mega dungeon 2 halves….

On top of all this, Blizzard now has screwed the mana for many healing classes/specs, as they said they want them to drink… and the poor shamans need to regularly drink… and some don't even bring mana drinks to the keys…. its sad…

So yes, we need at least a Healer replacement. Also when a healer leaves… to save the key, it would be nice to get a follower on medium keys at least… 🙂

Now, a group with a tank, 3 DPS can wait quite some time to get a healer to some keys… and if they do, they are undergears or lost as a puppy in a forest full of tigers lol

  5. Honistly i like both dragonriding and normal flying, i wouldnt wanna lose the option to use my TLPD like the old gods intended… Actually happy i can use my mounts now in DF 10.2 for questing and stuff its way more chill to use

  6. I cant have Captain Garrick this nice and helpful. Someone make an addon of Garrick pulling without concern for my mana, dps stand in almost everything, and random rage quits, with a 5min timers on another NPC joining. Might as well toss in some mild to hurtful cherping. lol. Give me the real pug experience.

  7. Even if the tree were on Kalimdor the Night Elf hardcore fans would piss and moan. They’re can’t be satisfied and should just be ignored by the development team entirely. No one ever went to Teldrassil anyway.

  8. The follower dungeon feature is easily one of the best in the game's history imo.

Now if they can push it to include Heroic and M0 as well, requiring a base iLvl for people to do this way, and learn harder mecanics of dungeons, it would be perfect imo

  9. Really doubt DF is going to be remembered at all xD. Literally forgettable a expansion. Granted they had to make this vacation expansion after the 2 worst ones back to back and also replan the entire game into the next 3 expansions. DF is sadly mid. All the cool ideas are dragged down by mediocre results. drakthyr look lame and we didn't really get dragonborn looking race. The class overall is ok but not daring enough as it should've been. the story in this expansion is just there, really waiting to be exploited and then they retracted from really going ham on it. Not only that but they absolutely destroyed the Nozdormu ark with such a garbage story, chromie having more screen time than him really shows where the writers head is. It's embarrassing. As long as they have these writers, the game won't feel warcraft enough. Hopefully they start removing the plague they recruited for the past 5 years. Danuser and all blizzard watch peep should go

  10. I love your sense of humor 🙂 So down to earth. When someone can be wry and self-deprecating, they have a good head on their shoulders lol.

Re: Dracthyr dragon riding, I'm kinda glad for the 10s CD. Compare it to Monk's Zen Flight, which is just abysmally slow. It would be a really unfair parallel to have Dracthyr baked-in flight to be so fast and phenomenal etc with no CDs, no punishment, while Zen Flight is practically never used. (Save for fishing)

I agree with follower dungeons. Total net positive! But there's another positive, I think, that you didn't mention! I personally know people who want to play WoW, but stay away from it because of the mandatory group content. They want to just play through the story, explore the world, role-play, etc. But at the moment, that's not fully possible. Given that WoW is dependent on new subscribers, adding follower dungeons to allow those types of players to experience the story means it can only attract new subscribers, which means more money and more longevity 🙂 I'm very excited for the future of WoW.

If you explore the forums, it still seems like the player base is largely hateful and mean. Just complaints incessantly. I find YouTube and Youtube commenters are more optimistic and happy with the state of WoW.

  11. Also the people claiming Follower Dungeons will ruin the community are a freaking joke lol. 99% of the time, you queue into a dungeon and the tank has already pulled all the way up to the boss. You say hi, ask how people are, and no one responds. Or you get a cutscene and they skip it and run off without you.
You're literally just a useful tool in them completing a quest or getting new loot. That's not "a community."

So yeah. AI Normal dungeons are fine lol. Especially because that's what is important to complete storylines for zones. It doesn't hurt the fabric of anything when we still have to do heroics and mythics together – which you CAN speed through, since we all experienced what the dungeon offers as a story and aesthetically in the Normal run with AI.
    It's perfect.

  13. It should be in Kalimdor, I am really disappointed that it isn't but I will play it all and enjoy it and emerald dream is amazing and i'm sure the new tree will be amazing too.

  14. As a wow player, there is no social aspect anymore. Most people don’t say shit and if they do, it’s usually toxic. When it’s over, people just drop out without a word. The social aspect comes from guilds, which will always be a thing.

  16. As primarily a night elf player, I was really hoping with the silly night elf heritage quest they were going to put it Felwood. Very disappointed in the placement of the world tree.

  17. After having done exiles reach more times than any sane person should, I'm really not interested in the follower dungeons now.
If I have to be railed with another heavy handed lecture on "You're more than your mistakes" love, family, friendship (even if they're spiders)- imma lose it.

The exiles reach NPC's are like nails on a chalkboard. Hopefully they don't say much of anything.
