  1. ya i miss when it was like WOTLK do 3 days of dailies for your honored shoulder enchant with hodir. then i didnt give a shit because the difference between the exalted shoulder enchant and honored was so minimal I didnt care. Think it only gave an extra 6 SP, so i really didnt give a shit thats not even half a gem.

  2. Agree, the problem with torghast wasnt that was mandatory or whatever like Asmongold says, or else, it was the rewards attached to it for that kind of activity, its supposed to be something epic, and by them attaching the stupid dust to it were actually killing any epicness potential it had

  3. I'll believe it, when I see it. Even if true, I think I've moved on from that part of my gaming life. It's just good to keep informed.

Also, yeah. I've noticed that Ion is constantly spamming out, in his head movements. Must be on cocaine lol.

  4. When Asmon started promoting FFXIV and the lawsuit dropped WoW lost 1/4 of their players. The devs suddenly became all ears, and make changes that players wanted. Zerith Mortis was created after this shift from the devs

  5. I think the game is too far removed from what I liked about it to get super hyped for it again. Addons and 4 expansions of poor decisions have eroded a lot of my love for the franchise. Plus, how can they expect me to give a shit if they haven't released info on warrior or shaman yet?

I'll probably pick it up and play it if my friends do because I like hanging out with them, but unlike the in past, I will not be the one trying to push/hype the game this time around.

  6. I think it comes down to some ppl liking simulated work as something to do. I've noticed this about myself. I played like around 7 thousand hours of survival games over the past 7 or so years. The thing is I'm unemployed because of my disability/health problems. I've got the time. I also have a void of work in my life so this kind of stuff fills that void.

  7. When a company needs its player base to test the game for them, it's a bad sign. Especially with blizzards track record. I mean, it only took them 18 years to listen to their player base and by looking at ions face it kinda seems like blizzard had Diablo immortal more on their minds then wow

  8. I personally chose NOT to engage with any of the systems, especially the legendary crafting garbage which felt more like an INSULT than anything else, and the game simply became unplayable.

These "systems" aren't going anywhere simply because it's not necessarily the "systems" that are the problem since they are just the means to an end, the problem ONCE AGAIN, is item levels. I keep repeating myself on this topic and it just seems like NOBODY is even aware of WHY all these systems are so shit. The only reason all of this garbage is HORRIBLE is because they lock your ITEM LEVELS behind them, and without ITEM LEVELS no matter how well you play your character will ALWAYS be shit.

I for once want to see item levels completely ABOLISHED, and see gear only providing secondary effects like movement speed, or higher drop rate for fucking herbs, or SITUATIONAL combat buffs like immunity to area damage for a few seconds, or a shield that absorbs fire damage and converts it into DPS or mana. GEAR IS NOT SUPPOSED TO PLAY THE GAME FOR YOU. Gear is ONLY supposed to make you VIABLE, it's not supposed to REPLACE your inputs entirely.

  9. for player power pruposes ZM was like blizz doing the rep grinds right and then sabotaging them on purpose. Like the actual time it took for you to unlock double legos acc-wide was very short, 5-10 mins a day on the WQs. The bad part was once again blizz timegated that shiet so even if you wanted to unlock it faster or grind more you just couldn't as the only rep sources were WQs and you only get like 3-4 per day, maybe 5 if you're 24/7 logging in and checking constantly idk.

I initally was going to use the shitty lego you get from the campaign, but then the vault gave me a tier piece in the same slot my lego was so I had to recraft it and unlock the good double legos to compensate. And it was literally nothing as I said 5-10 mins of WQs a day and that's it, but it still took me over a week simply because blizz thought it was a good idea.

  10. Ion must see the sub numbers and realized this really is it. He looks exhausted. Also the stress is receding that hairline…

You need to try it out to see how much better it is compared to the rest of SL. Maybe 2 hours of mandatory content 1 time. I blazed through it on my mm hunter. Most of its skippable and it actually feels rewarding catching up reknown on a new alt. They have a teir peice creator for an alt way to get tier. Best zone in years. Lets say its the closest they've come to Panda Island everyone loved.

The most fun I've had in WoW, EQ, 14, Rift, 11, and ESO was always with friends. My current favorite thing in 14 is maps. Something simple yet group related thats just fun for fun's sake.

I hate grinds overall. Unless there's a shiny pretty thing behind it. A black and pink horse is my current favorite. Well worth the grind of potd. I think the hardest grind I want to complete rewards a pterodactyl. 🙃 I hate my life.

I effing hate the maw pls stp. Your breaking me inside Ruri reminding me of the 9 month torture session.

I loved the idea of Torghast before being perverted by Blizzard. It was best in alpha. Interesting in beta. Boring on release. Healers and tanks had easy mode while dps struggled for awhile.

As someone who has multiple alts(9) i do not want to do any extra quests for anything that my main can do. Doesn't matter. If I've put time in it should be rewarded across all my toons.

I'll wait til it launches before I purchase anything because I have no faith in upper management to deliver a quality product.

  11. Zereth Mortis was cool, it showed the good changes and nothing mandatory. Rep grind is a bit boring since every rare only gives 10 rep. But there is a lot to do and I’m happy with that. Mount farming and upgrading gear on alts is good. Only wish that sandworn relics and Flux was tradeable.

  12. repsgrinds were originally put into the game as a concession for those checklist people, its also why they weren't mandatory then.

semiseparate second point. ive been slowly realising i just want to play a new game about levelling again, just a bigass adventure. the longer im away from retail the more im like ….eh.
