It wasnt hard to reach max level when they introduced the boost. Just took time. You weren't "Winning" anything with this feature. And it means less now that you can hit level cap in just a day if you sit down and go for it.
The introduction of the cash shop made the game soulless. You used to be able to just see a players toon and know they put in a ton of work. Now you see some bad ass looking toon walking around with hundreds of achievement points.
And they were completely right. This feature was the beginning of a slippery slope of corporate greed which led to the WoW token, in game shop, destroyed character progression and left the game in a miserable state.
I mean, I already leveled 1000000 times, it’s boring af, why not go directly to end game? For me it’s a good option lol 😅 especially if you a PvP player….
Leveling was important early WoW. I think a lot of us that don't have as much time to play as others appreciate the boosts. With that being said I'm glad classic doesn't have boosts because that era of wow leveling and questing is the most important part of the game
i used a free 70 boost which came with TWW. When i used it i also got 3 mounts and it just auto completed a bunch of DF content which i haven't played yet and gave me a bunch of achievements. Genuinely felt kind of regrettable to just cheat through all that.
You shouldn't ever feel a need to pay to skip content. If you feel that need it means the content should be improved or removed. Paying to skip boring parts of a game is Insanity.

Just add a way to to get currency via earning in game as well as pay to win might even it out

By adding the leveling boost they completely ruined a lot of emotion surrounding the game. Nothing raw and cool about a boost
Did you know everything bliz did that had you spend rl money had people say pay to win even the card game because people cry ptw no mater what
what are u talking about?
Leveling in this game is a joke anyway. You can hit max in like a 3 days without any help
Blizzards goal is to take every dime they can.
Wrong ..Blizzard intended it for profit
Nah gearing takes along as leveling
IMAGINE BEFORE WHEN ALL CHARACTERS AND GEAR YOU SAW WAS WORKED FOR AND THERE WAS NO BOTS OR PAY TO GAIN/WIN
You just pay I don’t see the winning because you still have to grind to get gear…🤷🏽♂️

Who wants to Group with someone who does not understand their class?

No I didn't know (sarcasm)
I have 14 characters, leveled them all up without boosting.
And people think the worst prt is when it’s bought by players… this is just a bot feature to get a bot to 60 and make millions of dollars

It was their goal to make more money and that’s it, I already know the reasoning they released.
