  1. I think gear should matter in pvp, but pvp gear should be better than pve gear in pvp situations. WoD was the most fun for me pvp-wise you were able to gear an alt up in a day with honor gear, and that gear scaled so that it was better than normal or heroic raid gear in bgs. I hate that PvE gear is so much easier to get and can be better than PvP gear.

  2. You can always just buy a level boost to 60 and then just pvp to get gear there’s ways to skip leveling if you really hate it that much…and shadowlands is great.
if you make all gear the same how can you burst someone when everyone is the same stats, health, etc

  3. What you are describing isn’t really an MMORPG though. Gear and progression through time spent are the cornerstones of MMORPGs. It’s why MMORPGs that have those two things are generally successful and ones that don’t usually aren’t that successful….sounds more to me like you should be playing a MOBA type game. They have PvP much like RBGs but zero PvE grind, you build out your character as you engage in the match, and from day one you can jump in and compete with the top dawgs if you do a little research to find out how to build your toon in the match. The only grind is actually engaging in the PvP to get a high rank.
