WoW Shadowlands 9.1 – How To Get The Hand of Nilganihmaht Mount | Nilganihmaht Control Ring Guide

Collect the 5 rings to earn your mount!

(1) Nilganihmaht’s Stone Ring
(A) 1/4 Quartered Ancient Ring
– Pick up Waiting in the Wings quest during a Necrolord assault in The Maw
– Hand in this quest and pick up the next quest called Putting A Plan Together
– Complete this quest and then mount the Overcharged Centurion (coordinates /way 37, 63)
– Jump up on to the walls of Perdition Hold and loot the Mawsworn Caches to obtain the Defense Map, which gives you a new quest called Clearing the Walls
– Complete this quest to receive 1x Quartered Ancient Ring
(B) 2/4 Quartered Ancient Ring
– Loot the Mawsworn Cache at coordinates /way 35, 69 (using the grapple hook to get up on to the wall of Perdition Hold)
(C) 3/4 Quartered Ancient Ring
– Maw Mad Construct will spawn in Perdition Hold and run around before eventually despawning
– Kill it and loot it for the ring
– If you miss it, it does respawn again soon
(D) 4/4 Quartered Ancient Ring
– This can spawn in many places around Perdition Hold and you just need to loot it when you find it
– The easiest way to find it is to buy a Trained Gromit Carrier from Archivist Roh-Suir in Korthia and use it to summon a Swagsnout Gromit. The Gromit will turn blue and run towards any nearby treasure so go around Perdition Hold until you find the ring
(E) Go to a Soulsteel Forge in the Zovaal’s Cauldron area of The Maw (there is 1 at coordinates /way 38, 39) and combine the 4 Quartered Ancient Rings to create Nilganihmaht’s Stone Ring

(2) Nilganihmaht’s Runed Band
– Use a Repaired Riftkey on a Rift Portal in Korthia to enter The Rift phase
– Repaired Riftkeys can be purchased from Archivist Roh-Suir in Korthia once you are Tier 4 reputation with the Archivists, and it can also sometimes drop from treasures in Korthia
– Alternatively you can use a Collapsing Riftstone; these have a chance to drop from Zovaal’s Vault, which is part of a daily quest in The Rift phase of the Maw. It can spawn in different locations and you’ll need to drag it to Ve’nari to unlock it
– Possible Rift Portal coordinates in Korthia:
/way 61, 44
/way 43, 46
/way 53, 72
/way 56, 74
/way 59, 53
– Once you’re in The Rift, go to The Maw and find the rare called Torglluun (coordinates /way 28, 24) and kill it to obtain this ring

(3) Nilganihmaht’s Gold Band
– Loot this at coordinates /way 19, 32 in The Maw (you’ll need to climb up from ground level, using the grapple point at coordinates /way 18, 38 and then jumping up and walking along towards the ring)

(4) Nilganihmaht’s Silver Ring
(A) 1/4 Seal Breaker Key
– Kill a rare called Ylva in The Maw (coordinates /way 66, 42) and it will drop an item called Feeder’s Hand and Key, which you’ll need to open to obtain this key
(B) 2/4 Seal Breaker Key
– Loot from a Helgarde Supply Cache
There is one at coordinates /way 63,4, 52,0 (cave entrance coordinates /way 64,8, 64,0)
There is another at coordinates /way 66,8, 64,4 (cave entrance coordinates /way 66,9, 56,3)
And there is another at coordinates /way 65,6, 59,4
If it doesn’t drop from the first one or two then it will be in the third.
(C) 3/4 Seal Breaker Key
– Loot the The Harrower’s Key Ring at coordinates /way 65, 60 (entrance coordinates /way 66, 56)
(D) 4/4 Seal Breaker Key
– Has a low chance to drop from Maldraxxi Defector mobs (elite) in The Maw and also the following elites in Maldraxxus: Chosen Ragebringer, Veteran Boneshield & Runebladed Reaper
(E) Find the Domination Sealed Cage at coordinates /way 66, 57 and use your 4 keys to unlock it and loot the ring

(5) Nilganihmaht’s Signet Ring
(A) Kill Talaporas rare in The Maw (at coordinates /way 28, 11)
– You’ll receive an item called Dominion Etching: Pain
(B) Kill Apholeias rare in The Maw (at coordinates /way 19, 41)
– You’ll receive an item called Dominion Etching: Loss
(C) Kill Ekphoras rare in The Maw (at coordinates /way 42, 21)
– You’ll receive an item called Dominion Etching: Grief
(D) Go to the entrance of the Altar of Domination (at coordinates /way 23, 68), head inside and combine your 3 items to receive a new item called Domination’s Calling, then use this to create a portal to the upper level so you can kill Exos the rare and receive the ring

– Enter The Rift phase once again and head over to a cave in The Maw at coordinates /way 25, 32
– Go inside and place your 5 rings on the Hand of Nilganihmaht
– Click to complete the quest and receive your mount
