  1. Since i have ryzen 5 2600 and gtx 1080, ill hold a bit but will see if i can upgrade my gpu to 3070 if budget allows around june, hopefully this shortages will lessen abit, its for my 1440p 144hz monitor and 1450p gaming, as long it can 100fps plus, its much okay 🙂

  2. I recently upgraded from a 1080p 60Hz display to a 1440p 165Hz display (Dell S2721DGF), and I also noticed some big gains in WoW going from a Ryzen 7 1700 to a Ryzen 9 3900X. Unfortunately, I'm using a Crosshair VI Hero (X370) so Zen 3 wasn't an option, but I was able to get a good price from a friend who upgraded to a 5900X.

The relatively high latency and weaker single-threaded performance of first generation Zen processors causes them to struggle a fair bit in WoW. When I was streaming using x264 in Ny'alotha last expansion, my FPS would drop into the sub-30s when entering the large open central area inside the raid. Now my system barely misses a beat.

I also have since upgraded from an R9 290X to an RX 5600 XT and the whole game is a much smoother experience now, even with all my addons loaded.

  3. Hey, much respect for the video!
What would you recommend for a budget setup at 1080p, would love to have a 60+fps in raids on medium/high graphics and 100+ in the world.
Would probably get a 144hz screen for some moba/fps games as well.

  4. Guys,my build advice to you for 1440p playing with 144hz is my own build,
    Ryzen 5 3600
Sapphire rx5700xt pulse. This GPU is best value for the cost since its only 400euros.
    RAM 3600mhz 16GB cl16
    B450 Tomahawk Max
    U will be extremely satisfied.
Btw I made my build based on Max's advices from previuos videos , so thank you Max and GGs 😀
