  1. Blizzard has no passion for the game anymore. They used to be a passionate team who really wanted things to be epic and fun. This isn't that team anymore. Stop wishing it was different, it's not going to be. There are plenty of awesome fun alternatives, make your choice if you're unhappy with the game.

  2. I loved leveling up, since I'm no longer in a guild and can't find one on my dead realm, the endgame content feels seriously lacking, and it feels like there's no way to join a guild and play casually

I stopped playing soon after I hit max level, it surprises me that the EP has flopped so hard after the amazing job they did on the leveling road

  4. really sucks bc this xpac had some great early content but end game was just doing the same few world quests and time gating the covenants story making it feel fragmented and unimportant. really hope to see some improvements next expansion, i just wanna have fun chill things to do in the game bc i could care less about the story at this point, i just love the world

  5. 1 major patch per year, 180$ dollars per patch. Plus store mounts, max level boosts and more. What a shitshow. That's without mentioning the botched story, dumb design decisions and more.

I think it's time to admit that WoW isn't just past its prime, it's in a coma.

  6. I have left WoW permanently . I did play some classic WoW and enjoyed it , but it's time to put an end to it and let other games grow in nostalgia for me .. like i started playing the Witcher 3 again …and i'm in love with it again ❤ … next up.. perhaps Super Mario Odyssey again ? 🙂

  7. I am absolutely so done with and so confused by blizzards insistence on developing content for their game with the intention and knowledge that they will be abandoning it within a year or two.

Garrisons, Artifacts, Order halls, Azerite and Essences, Warfronts, Island Expeditions, Torghast, Covenants, Soulbinds… it's insane.

Why do they seem to love just wasting development time?

What if Garrisons had been placed in, say Durotar and Elywn? And had been a permanent addition to how you could play. Each expansion bringing new buildings, unlocks, cosmetics etc.
What if the Artifact system kept rolling, each patch and each expansion bringing new visual appearances and ways of unlocking them.
The class order hall could have been a class specific garrison system and player hub!
Azerite was kinda always shit tbh but could have been worked into an Artifact system with more thought.
Torghast could be another place to unlock cosmetics that the devs just dump abilities into to fuck around. They could move it to (a) Dalaran or something to make it more normal for players to get to in the future.

People get mad that they release things broken and then spend the whole expansion fixing it before dropping it, and they're right to it's insane, but i can't get past the fact that this content is ALWAYS DESIGNED TO BE DROPPED ANYWAY. Tens of thousands of hours of dev time going into something you know that even if you do it right will be in the bin in a year.

It's the dumbest fucking thing i've ever seen any company do.

  8. I actually stopped playing one week ago because 9.1.5 did not add any content I would be interested in and now I am waiting for the 9.2 or the new expansion to maybe come back when there is stuff to do.

  9. I wholeheartedly disagree on waiting for rares, that might drop mounts, being fun. BfA put in so many of those rares and it was absolutely killing me farming them.

30min-1hr spawn timers, shitty dropchances, dead in like 5 seconds.

I don't mind mounts being hard to acquire, but a low drop chance on a rare is not rewarding, and is just awful to grind.

  10. For Torghast I remember 1 amazing run I had. It was Twisting Coridors and on like floor 1 or 2 I got the Glass Canon power up (every floor increases my damage dealt but also reduces my max health).

By the end of it I could easily shred any enemy that got in my path, but I was almost within 1 shot range of even maw rats.

Pair that with some of the insane Shaman powers like Earth Elemental having the same CD as uptime, ecach active totem buffing my damage and using totems gives free Bloodlust and I had by far the most fun run ever.

However other than that one run Torghast was pretty underwhelming. Like sure, Shaman gets fun powers in it, but it is so repetetive.

  11. Timegating to me says "we don't have enough content, so if we don't limit you you're gonna run out of things to do and leave" which is a good indicator that you should leave.

But yeah I don't think there's anything they can do to blow life back into WoW at the moment with how things are going at Blizzard. I feel like they're in a situation where things will be bad no matter what. If they don't fire basically the whole board of directors, a lot of people, me included, will not have any trust in Blizzard as a company going forward. But if they do fire the whole board it's anyone's guess as to what will happen with the game with a whole new set of people making decisions. Will Blizzard finally get some people in charge who listen and care and try to improve the game or will it change for the worse? Anyone's guess!

  12. I think what killed my love for the expansion was Torghast. Once you did every wing twice, it just felt the same. It was the ONLY way to get soul ash and I really wanted to make legendaries but it was a hassle I didn't want to do.

  13. I couldn't make a pre-order when my pals did, so i waited. After launch there was NOTHING interesting, so i waited. And then it started getting worse, so i was just watching. And then this trash bin caught on fire, and here i am with my head in my hands, just glad I'm not putting any money into it.
