WoW Shadowlands Gold Making Guide – Ways to Make Gold

This Video will be used as some sort of overview of all different kinds of gold making methods in world of warcraft, in the newest expansion as well as in the old expansions.

First Method:
Simple Profession-Gather Farms, such as Skinning, Herbing, Mining. Its a steady and reliable Gold-Farm, however you will have to be constantly on the run or fly, its best to do when you just want to brain-afk run from yellow dot to yellow dot while watching a series or listening to music. The gathered materials sell quite fast on almost every server, so its considered one of the best methods to stock up a few thousand gold to invest into even better gold farms mentioned further along the video.

Second Method:
Transmog, but please pay attention: Transmog Farms are heavily server/ people influnced, they sell very very slow, so dont be disappointed if you dont see any sells in a couple hundred 48 hour lists in the auction house. I recommend a stock of at least 1000 different transmog pieces.
When talking about Transmog we will have to differ:
Crafted Transmogs: Especially hard to get recipes, that also look good (maybe locked behind a reputation grind that not many want to suffer through)
Rare Transmogs: Transmog Pieces which have a super super rare drop chance like .5% or even lower as well as only a single rare that respawns only once every 1-3 hours. Simply the rarity makes it so expensive.
Casual Transmogs: Most Greens / Blues that drop in various dungeons – mostly classic dungeons are the ones you want to run for these, because good old classic just got those really noice pixels that everyone wants

Third Method:
Professions, such as leatherworking, blacksmithing, alchemy, enchanting, inscription, jewelcrafting, tailoring and cooking.
For this method as well as all other methods i recommend using TSM, its such an powerful tool in gold making and quite easy to use if you take some time to look it up and learn the basics. There are lots of tutorials on youtube on that im sure you can find them.
basically its making use of buying mats when they are at a low price in the auction house and then convert them with the various professions into various other items.

Its recommended to have enough characters so you can have all kinds of professions on them to freely shuffle items between those. When crafting items for professions make sure to also check the sale rate on them depending on your server. It depends on your own preferrence to how long you want to wait for it to sell or rather how patient you are.

Fourth Method:
Material Farm or rather dropped Item Farm, this includes Materials as well as mounts from old content. These things can give you a huge chunk of gold if you get lucky

Fifth Method:
This is a rather Shadowlands Specific one: Legendary Crafting: To do this seriously you will have to have a decent amount of gold already, because you gotta level all the legendarys from 1 to 4 which is really really cost intensive, and almost all the time non-profitable until you reach rank 3 or even only at rank 4

Sixth Method: Raw Gold Farm of old dungeons and raids.

Its simple: go in old dungeons or raids, kill everything, keep the stuff you want to sell on the auction house and just vendor the remaining and soulbound items. not only will this fill your personal transmog options,but it will also give you nice so called raw gold

Seventh Method:
I wont make any videos about that, but its still a highly popular gold farm for some people: Boosting – various boosts such as dungeon or raid boosts, mythic dungeons boost etc. I never liked them but i still wanted to mention it just for the purpose of the video to list all gold-making methods
