So far, so good. Bastion looks fantastic, classes seem better, and Blizzard has made a number of KEY assurances!

Its warhammer age of sigmar!!!
Mate, the expansion brings literally no inovation except for Torghast. Anybody who buys the expansion just due to nice zones and based on the fact that they promise stuff in interviews literally suffers from battered wife syndrome and allows Blizzard to continue in this direction. The paradigm needs to change and this is not enough in 2020.
Yeah "looks" brilliant. But let's wait.
We said that of many expansions.
laughs in Black Desert Online >:)
I 100% agree with your opinion about Burning crusade music beeing better because it's more in the background complements the experience and not so omg epic in your face as in all addons since wod tbh.
I still feel like this addon will be worse than legion. It's only better than bfa, which is not a big deal. But I don't believe Ion not listening again with the covenant stuff. Same as they didn't listen with azerite. So I refuse to buy the addon.
I don't get the specific gcd feedback. Why do we need to somehow need to explain on a professional level why we dislike a system. This is not our job as customer. The fact we want GCD gone is enough. Their job is to make the customer happy no matter what
And another place you have to earn flying 🙄
Talking about storytelling got me thinking about BfA being what new players experience 10-50… Should that fragmented random story be what they see? I hope they will somehow improve it.
Shadowlands looks shit
You just sound like a fan boy.
You're not giving any objective evidence that this is going to revive a disappointment of a game, that tbh has been pandering to a retard casual audience since after WotLK.
You've done this over literally every expansion, why should we trust you now?
It's very unlikely they will remove the GCD changes introduced in BFA.
One of the main reasons for it is that the majority of wow players are pure clickers.
Clickers that use their cursor to click each button one at a time.
This choice puts them at a disadvantage for most aspects of the game.
Players using hotkeys have an overwhelming advantage in performance for many reasons, among them:
because the time between each ability is reduced;
because it frees their mouse to target, to camera turn;
because muscle memory takes effect with prolonged use, which in turns allows not having to look at where you are pressing and pay more attention to what's going on around you;
because it makes it more easy to use important, but non essential abilities like interrupts, defensives, and utility;
because reacting is easier and faster.
However, if the interval between using each ability has a large cap, then it restricts how much more of an advantage hot key players can have,
and how much easier the game becomes for them. It makes it so blizzard doesn't have to worry about hot key players trivializing the game as much,
since developers have to account for the majority, who are pure clickers, when thinking about how difficult they can make the game.
A GCD makes the game much more forgiving for pure clickers, since it gives them time to move their mouse from one button to the next.
A larger and more influential gcd closes the gap between hot key players over pure clickers, making the game more accessible.
Would be amazing if they brought back 2H enhance
I WANT TO FLY WITHOUT REP FARMING AND I WANT THE NEW CHARACTERS AS ALLIED RACES.
Great video! New patron here.
Yes, I'm like 3 weeks behind on my video subscriptions XD
Is the draw distance still low and hazy?
I skipped BFA entirely but must admit shadowlands is tempting me. I left classic because of guild shit (as always) and became demoralised with it as a result. Something new like shadowlands would be fun to try and I do love demon hunter gameplay so may have to come back for it.
Gameplay still looks boring and repetitive.
If Blizzard had any sense they would learn from the popularity of Classic WoW and take elements from it that interest those players and apply it in their retail game. Such as active chat channels, actually needing groups for things. Challenging content where you actually have to think about the enemy you are fighting instead of "Insert X Rotation here". You know, the social elements of the game that give it the MMO feel.
But, that would imply Blizzard have sense. Something which they have shown to be severely lacking in for many years now.
Like every expansion, the cinematic is amazing. The previews look really good and people like Bellular and other streamers hype it up to shit and try to build hope for a better tomorrow.
But like every other expansion, that hope quickly dwindles and the reality dawns that this is still the same shitty content with a different skin that we've all been disappointing ourselves with every single time.
Blizzard are a long way away from regaining the faith of people who share that view, and despite my want for Shadowlands to be the next great thing, I really doubt it will be.
I really don't like the linear leveling of WoD. It feels like you're running through the zone and never return to a hub. I liked the old style MMO where you can run to a random town and quest there, but it felt like an actual hub where you wanted to return to when you completed all your objectives. A town felt so much more real. You could craft, repair your gear, sell your stuff… Running through a zone give you a much more anxious 'completionist' feeling. Even though the quests are probably more 'epic' and related to the main story, it's still a worse way to experience the world imo. Also the replayability is so much worse, because you experience the same story all the time. Adding a main story (campaign) to the quests may help to reduce this, we will see!
I never played Retail WOW before. I started playing wow with the release of wow classic. I have a 60 lvl hunter now and I kinda wanna give retail a chance. Should I stick with classic? Or should I wait until shadowlands release?
I want to fly AFTER leveling one toon to max level. I have no interest in roaming the same topography from ground level after one time. TBH, I don't see what this guy sees. I see the same chit as always.
Bellular needs a voice break lol, Love the WOW content
The only things i want returned. Honour and CONQ venders. Give us a reason to save honour up. and NEED AND GREED in dungeons. This loot system they have now SUCKS
world of mountcraft
your intro sound like ur a murloc
Dont get my hope up. pls god no
Great game looking forwards to it for my
So are you trying to say the devs had a proper helping of humble pie? We shall see, but at this point it's a huge hurdle to overcome to get many people's trust back. From MoP through WoD, and then again in BFA they have been failing to learn any new lessons and stubbornly sticking with whatever decisions they've been making.
wow that zone looks amazing ! i cant wait
He is a WoW content creater. Of course he has to create hype so people keep clicking his videos… For me this addon is already underwhelming. No appealing continent, no real new killer feature, no big pvp or class changes. Meh
Why dont they just do a new wow on a new engine so the game feels newer.
The need to add main quest markers , final fantasy has this and I thought it worked really really well
Wasn't the GCD change meant to make you spread out your major cds?
Might going to play this game because of the graphics now.
what they say what they say what they say ……that the problem they keep saying AND they might give u some nice thing at the start …wait 6 months and lets see how shadow lands is. the gate keeping the stupid decisions and more…not again
this guy is so full of it, he's paid by sponsors aka Activision/Blizz, he's making such high level assumptions of how SL will play out. Please base reviews on key documented differences, i.e. more pixels, better res, changes to abilities and the talent system, change to button smash mechanics, dynamic combat changes, anything aside from GCD changes. Otherwise SL seems medicore at best for expansions
Its still the same old game unfortunately, I'm waiting for them to make a new game.
Every expansion we think the Dev's will listen to the player base and sure enough we all fall for it. Then when the game is released it will have a huge amount of flaws like all recent expansions and the Dev's will go back to not listening to player feedback because actually changing something they on a personal level implement would hurt thier feelings.
Get ready for another Disappointing expansion.
@bel, i think the biggest question is, is shadowlands an real mmorpg?, or is it a fantasy looter shooter like legion and bfa?
I have 100 questions.. And none of them have been addressed in this video.. That is crazy…
so when do you get flying is it similar to BFA? or do we get as soon as we enter the game?
Is he running a graphic addon? Or have they improved the graphics in shadowlands? because it looks better
I like this. The only other thing I would ask for is full on ray trace support
Blizzard on the wrong path. This expansion will do nothing to fix large scale lag. FAIL
Bastion looks a lot like Mac'Aree in my opinion
can't wait to play this on my 25,000 PC and in 4k!
– btw, why only 60?
This looks so damn stunning, I'm so keen for new wow content finally.
colleen ballinger
more endless gear grinding, no thanks bruh
Blizzard saying 'We're listening' is like Trump saying 'Believe me..'
