  1. Nothing massively stupid leaps out of any of these reveals. The worst possible thing I can think of is that Hero Talents not just being cosmetic are going to become pretty cookie cutter in terms of "Oh you're Enhance that means you have to be Farseer" or some such. It also adds complication for balance (what if Fury is busted OP but arms isnt, and you have to nerf one of their shared hero talents.)

However, conceptually it is very cool.

Delves sound great, as well as having a world content Vault track. Warbands are fun and i'm glad they've finally done it, i'd imagine they would have done this earlier but had to save stuff for an expansion feature. Dynamic riding everywhere is as expected but still good.

I'm glad we're going to get what looks like 4 expansions tied narratively together, that's cool and something blizzard have literally never managed before. I hope they're prepared to tweak how players experience that content going forward. It works in FF because you play the MSQ all in one long line, but for WoW if new or returning players jump in midway through Midnight say, will they lose context for stuff that happened in Dragonflight or War Within etc. A problem for later, but the leveling and old world is now one of blizzards biggest issues and it'll need addressing at some point.

  2. Warbands sounds amazing and something I'm really looking forward to as an altaholic. I collects pets and mounts more than anything else and so could find myself caring more about transmog when the Xpac comes out now as a result of this. Another great video Hazel!

  3. Fomo is not Blizzards problem it is the individuals problem – I dont begin 3 days before everyone else some people saved some money to begin 3 days later than me. I am not gonna be ahead I am not gonna get better faster or win more than anyone else – I want to play the expansion as soon as its possible so thats what I pay for not to get ahead but to play a new expansion that I am looking forward to.
If I could get a free expansion after waiting 2 weeks I would not do that either because I dont want to wait. Not fomo. Not "everyone else". Just me and my urge to play wow.

  4. Not bothered by early access in the Epic pack, it will be worth it to the ones that pay and not to the ones that done, I don't see feature bloat, they are making to respect players time, if you choose to do all of the content "Raids, dungeon, mythics, pvp, delves, dailies, weeklies, monthlies, crafting, gathering." then you are not respecting your own time.

  5. I just wish they’d have a set of weapons usable by each class that you can choose and level them up. And each weapon has one ability. Just like legion, except for less complicated with artifacts, talents, runes, etc. and you get to use the same weapon every expansion. If you want it to look different, then transmog.

  6. Yeah I don't like the early access. But, mount, pet, 3 months time, tmog, boost to 424 and fun item. I'm okay with the price and paid for it with tokens. But yeah the 3 day early release is annoying.

  7. Hazel they doing the 3 expansion sbecause of the story people are complaining they make up the story as they go in each expansion and have no end boss and second they following what FFxiv did as most of the free alt stuff in fffxiv that why wow doing it because thye like the system YOSHI uses so they implenting it in there game. Am I excited for the enxt expansion NO I am probably waiting for the second expansion or the 3rd one I think the war within is a prelude setting up the stage for the epic conflict that coming but don't think it really pick up till end of the war within and then picks up in midnight then the 3rd one probably be a ultimate showdown and probably getting some extra help to help defeat the old titan gods the one thta put the sword into azeroth.

  8. I've never understood why Hazelnutty has such a low subscriber count. I love coming back to wow and just recapping on these videos. I know you don't ever ask people to subscribe, but an end of video plug for subscription might help. I've seen content creators switch from never asking to only mentioning it at the end and seeing a huge difference. Just a thought 🙂

  10. I'm playing currently ERA and having a blast. I've never level to 60 when it was max. and completly missed classsic rerelase.
The new Retail stuff sounds interesting. However I simply don't want to play retail anymore. After 8-9 h of work I don't have the energy for the demanding m+ and raids. Don't get me wrong, it's fun but I simply lack the energy to run high m+ dungeons. Not 20 anymore 😛

If they manage to make retail to something where you don't need 20 addons to do the end content then I can see myself playing it. Also the effects and visuals are, sorry to be so negative, garbage. Having similiar colored curlies on the ground is just a bad idea. In General I really would wish they make a WoW Retail reset. Like go some hundred years in the future or even past and let everybody create new Chars. Everybody starts from scratch.

  11. i don't get it. they've always done that. early access for the higher tier. why are people now being so shocked about it? it's $30 more for early access and 30 days of gameplay. what's going on????

  12. There are some quality of life aspects about Cataclysm that I've been missing in Classic. They've already added in account bound mounts, pets, and account wide achievements for some things. I've also been kind of missing the FPs that were added in Cata at times, when I've wanted a quick flight from Stormwind to Goldshire or when I wanted to get the rest of the horse mounts & couldn't just fly out to Eastvale Logging camp for them & they don't yet have them in Stormwind. Also I wouldn't mind being able to make a Worgen. Never finished the Goblin starting area so I don't really miss playing them in Classic.

  13. I'm glad they've got lots of smaller things rather than one big feature. Let's be honest that doesn't tend to end well for them…
Season Of Discovery might be the thing that gets me back to Classic, I dropped off ages ago and just never felt the urge to go back.
As for Rumble…I'd love to get that toy but my phone is incapable of running it so I guess no gnome battlepet for me lol

  14. As far as I'm concerned, Blizzard destroyed the game for by creating Renown in the first place. The moment I have to work harder than my day job just to get an item, it ceases to be a game and becomes a job.

I deleted WoW from my computer, never to see it returned, and I had been playing since Vanilla.

  15. you usually cant even play the game for the first 3 days anyways with all the glitches and lag. I'll let people pay $90 to iron out all the glitches so when I come in 3 days later on my $50 base game I'll have a smooth experience. Remember dragonflight? I couldn't even get on the boat. It would show up and then dissapear under my feet and throw me into the water… they put a portal to bypass the boat.. the portal was broke too.

  16. 11:33 "We've had it before." Yeah but the same can be said about Vanilla, BC and WotLK. Clearly there is a demand for Cataclysm Classic, if you remember the survey they sent out earlier this year. It specifically asked us, the community, if there was an interest in Cataclysm Classic and obviously there is a demand, otherwise they wouldn't have made/announced it, if the majority said no. Personally, I started playing the game during Cataclysm, so that expansion is especially nostalgic for me and I'm super stoked about it.

  17. It worked for them in D4 and people tolerated it, you get what you tolerate.

Hilarious "won't have a long term advantage" – I dunno, most if the hardcore players who pay to play immediately will get slotted in with the more hardcore or competent guilds, people 3 days behind probably won't have the same chances and will always find themselves at least a week lockout behind, sometimes more.

Don't buy Blizzard products, the justified Fomo is bullshit.
