Can still get it on Class Trials, but they fly slow as hell now. I still don't trust them to NOT break them in the future lol

I didn't fully understand the spawn timer in other zones. Lets say I put a character in Nagrand right after reset on tuesday. Does that mean I can log off since the timer has been activated and start camping after 48 hrs? Or does my character have to be logged into Nagrand for 48 hrs minimum, because logging off would reset the spawn timer?

Thank you so much for this guide! I patrolled Shadowmoon Valley on three characters (Wm Off, Chromie Time Wm Off, Chrome Time Wm On) 48h after server reset and ended up finding a portal after 5 hours!
Any idea of which zones reset due to noone there? I have tried to look for a list but no luck (hunting this and Aeonaxx)

You can turn warmode off at an innkeeper, doesnt need to go back to major cities to turn WM off
what add on are you using that give you the purple skulls?
you do NOT have to be in stormwind to turn off warmode. Just a inn or sanctuary that provides rest. So you can be in warspear or stormshield and can turn it off
Whats the lowest level i can enter a portal ?
Does it matter in which chromie time i go? like cata or wotlk?
Anytime a rare despawns after a certain time it is a kick in the teeth straight from the devs. Why would they ever make something like that?
Thank you very much for your guide, it was very useful to me so much that I ended up finding my portal in just 1 day and a half of farming. I created 6 or 7 free trial characters and put it in shadowmoon on different low population servers ( war mode on and off ). I waited for the mobs to have at least 48h with npc time ) and I started checking the spawns on each character for hours. Very glad to finally have one after months of checking all over draenor. 🙂

From how far is that portal visible? Can I just stay in middle and watch all spots in frostfire or in shadowmoon?
Is SMV still exempt from the 15 minute reset rule or has that since been changed? Heavily considering tackling this on a dead server after the initial 48 hours have passed, but I won't be thrilled if I try that only to have to wait 48 more.
I actually found mine in Nagrand. Was during 'Legion' and was waiting for guild to get the Highmaul raid so I thought "Can't hurt to check while waiting" and there she was 😀
NOTE: I can also confirm the group was changed to raid and I was still able to click it
All my toons are fifty. Can I still find the portal with elvel 50 toons in shadowlands 9.2? I have 11 level 50 toons. I was thinking I could park one in each zone and just do a run through with each every day. But I need to know if the portals still spawn before I waste all that time parking them
How the heck do you have a guide and you cant tell us one time where the @@@ SPAWN points are.

i am camping on low population server in frostfire ridge. i am the only one camping here.
how is it possible for me to find a portal, if the zone resetts every 15 min if there are no active players? if i go to sleep, the zone will resett probably and the timer will be 48h +
ive read free trial accounts can loot it too so that should be good if you have em linked to your bnet account, just park 1 guy close to the spots and you save re logging you can just have 2 copies of WoW running at once or heck even more
130 portals? Why would you need this mount a 130 times?
Wait why have you seen 130 portals? You just do this for fun?
Do the portals only spawn on an hourly basis or are they able to spawn at any time post 48 hours? Like, could you have a spawn at say, 53:24 or only 53:00/54:00? If that makes sense. I've been camping portals the entire time, and I'd like to know if that's actually worth my time at all.
I've got all the Draenor mounts except this purple bastard. Searched constantly for months and no luck
So, my question is about the reset. If a character or anybody is not within these zones except Shadowmoon, then does the timer reset back to the 48 hours or back to zero and you'll need to wait 2 days for the timer to jump back to 48 hours (if someone stays in that area that long). I'm just wondering if parking six characters around the zone is less profitable to my time than just parking 4 characters in SMV.
Update: you can now Chromie Time up to level 60.
nice. i did my first ever fly through, however with every zone having its own timer, I think ill park 2 chars, one with WM on and one with it off in one zone to try and get it
Only a minor note, but you can turn Warmode Off in any rest area.
