The third one was horrible for me. The explanation was very unclear too. It said something like: all variables (symbol type and border) must be either ALL the same or ALL different. And the amount of symbols and borders must be either ALL the same or ALL different. It was confusing as hell.Your explanation was a lot clearer, thanks!

I am a puzzle solver but I call myself that cause I like puzzles.
I actually didn't mind the first 2 puzzles but the 3rd is awful. TBH Tali's explanation is WAY better than the one offered in game. After several attempts of just pure not understanding what I was doing wrong (and I didn't have this video then). I got the addon. In my case it adds to the RP. I play a mechagnome. In-game the addon is a hack that he uses to brute-force the puzzles 🙂
I think the same about the puzzles… Sometimes I can't understand how we think the same about so many things, but you are a total winner, and I'm a total loser.

what's the addon you're using that changes the dialog window when you talk to the npc?
I have had so much fun in Zereth Mortis just adventuring around with my friend. We don't look things up online and we don't use any helper addons. People keep saying how they miss the adventure feeling they used to have playing WoW- well that adventure is still there, but it disappears when you use resources that give you all the answers.
The third one made no sense for me. But Tali, thank you, I kinda see it now how does it work at least.

Main issue is instructions are bad. Oh and because of the amount of time I have to play, it took me until day TWO to do the quests to learn how to do the puzzles, which their bad instructions. However, I could attempt this puzzles from the second I got to ZM, of at that time 0 explanation on how they work.
Also thanks for the BETTER explanations, don't require an addon.
Also the first time does matter the order you do it in. I say this because I failed the quest repeatedly because I didn't do it in the correct order.
aah the third puzzle, where i only had 3 out of 9 runes left and the game told me it was wrong when i pressed the last 3 and it reset, instantly downloaded the addon after

So they are SUPPOSED to be this easy?!?! I just thought I got some ridiculous RNG Luck that made them so easy. Do people really struggle on these??
The 2nd puzzle I absolutely hated, made no sense to me, I kept trying to get it down to as few spaces as possible, gave up and did it online. The third puzzle I got instantly, that one's fun and not ass.

To be fair, some of those "cheating" addons help a lot of players with disability issues.
And addons for reading are called audiobooks. 😉

I hate all of these puzzles…..
The only one I can't do is the second one. The first and third are easy. But I can't do the second one. I spent hours clicking and got it down to 2 boxes before i downloaded the freaking addon. 🙁

These puzzles made me ragequit. The first one was easy, the second one had me in tears. I hate those kinds of puzzles. I liked the ones in Nazjatar but these ones are just obnoxious to me. My ADHD makes these kinds of puzzles really hard.

I got the addon, and it is helping me learn how to do the puzzles, but it is the fault of the game for not explaining what you need to do to solve them.

As a kid, I loved these types of puzzles. Weird to see them as a thing in WoW. If I still played the game, I'd probably actually have some fun with them. That one with the different shapes and patterns is different but probably would find it fun. All of the other ones though, easy peasy (to get to the point of at least having a method to the madness).

I didn't even know there was an addon so I looked it up and the last puzzle on the addon has so much more work into it then just doing the puzzle without it and after watching this it seems super easy sinced now I know how it works. Thanks Tali
First puzzle is easy, second one is impossible, for me at least, third puzzle gives me a headache…

I haven't unlocked the puzzles yet but I was dreading it, I am not a puzzle person! I usually have no clue how to start and my brain just gets stuck. But I have to say, after Tali explained them a couple times, I was shouting at my screen "OMG, I GET IT! CLICK THAT ONE FIRST!!!" Now I can't wait to do all the puzzles.
