I’m so glad to hear Nightsong make a comeback again! I like how Neal Acree has tied the theme to Ysera now since it plays during her quest in Shadowlands as well as her cutscenes in Legion.
I especially love the first song you hear in this video, “The Dreamer Procession A”. It’s a fantastic mix between Nightsong and the new Ardenweald music.
Next to Revendreth, Ardenweald is easily my second favorite zone for music in Shadowlands 🙂
Oh yeah, I also changed the ui slightly for this video. I noticed that the Revendreth video was looking very cluttered so I’ve attempted to clean things up a little here. Should make it easier to parse out the different themes and subthemes here.

There's something special about this track for me. It's unique. It really does make me want to dream.
I really like how it sounds at the start of 3:16:05, how it's like wobbling. Also 1:31:02 is pretty nice, hadn't heard that before. Also 1:45:52, because the start reminds me of Shrine of Storms from Bfa, which had awesome music.

2:29:05 this little part in the back always reminds me of the part at 1:19 in "The Spirit Willow" of the Ori and the Will of the Wisps soundtrack. There are other obvious similarities between the themes of Ori and the Ardenweald like parts of the Nocturne Celestial pieces for example, but this little part in Choice Rebirth is like a special little gem. 😀

Ardenweald was the backbone of the shadowlands expansion for me, some of the other zones and such were okay but the novelty quickly wore off – as did the novelty of the shadowlands as a whole, but ardenweald still stands apart from all that.

Ardenweald, the zone, the story, and most definitely the music, is one of my all time favorites, and I've been playing since 2004. Thank you for your work and for sharing it. I will miss the weald come next expansion.
