  1. Affabel777 here. Did you notice that Xal'atath called Kadghar 'Guardian'? Does she not know that Khadgar never took the Guardian title? I wonder if that will come back to bite her at some point?

  2. Imagine him harnessing the pillars of creation to survive in the endless void.
Khadgar took a recent visit to the shadowlands. Is it possible that he picked up a last ditch effort there?
I'm also wondering if he became like a grain of sand in the hourglass–maybe displacing his death in the timestream–leaving himself in an unlikable state but having to accept his fate without exception?
Lastly, thinking about the time spell that was being used near the night well.
Maybe he learned summoning circle and turned to dust as he fled to a nearby location such as the vault?
    I dunno.

  3. Why did Xal'latath call Khadgar Guardian? He is not, Medivh was the last. In Legion when the demon tried to tempt Khadgar into becoming the next Guardian he refused saying that is to much power for one person to have and refused. Continuity was thrown out the of window.

  4. Why did Khadgar run off to try 1v1 Xal if he was going to be out of juice after his one big attack, I get that it's for plot reasons but I hate it when they have good characters just acting stupid to move the plot. I have my doubts he's dead and will probably return as a corrupt version or hostage later (maybe Medivh will show up after he left in legion).

Other than that I enjoyed the intro a lot, was paced really well.

  5. The facial expression on Alleria when she falls through the gate/portal was just out-freakin-standing. But this… I saw the video online pre-playing, yet I still cried in game because… goddamnit, man… All he's been through and what a way to go (or not, ha) and still… plus his friendship with Alleria too…

  6. there's a small part of me that is coping like there's no tomorrow that Khadgar is still alive, the staff broke, but what's to say that some magical remnants from the Tirisfal Staff saved him somehow and Khadgar is hiding it up with 1 arm somewhere.

the main reason why i'm hoping this to be the case as we SAW Varian explode while we only saw 1 hand of Khadgar's get absorbed/disintegrated

  7. I absolutely hate it when the hero characters throw an attack at the villain and the villain is completely unfazed. This just makes Khadgar seem so weak and useless. At the least Xalatath should have had to throw up some kind of shield to deflect that massive death ray, preferably with some kind of strain on her face to show needed to put in some effort.

  8. I can’t wait for Medivh to come back and summon Illidan from the Seat of the Pantheon with a gateway to the sword, like the Dark Portal, and Illidan’s just like “Khadgar was NOT PREPARED!”

  9. With the Void being all-consuming and so on, I want to think that there is a possibility Dalaran didn't explode per se, but that majority of it was sucked inside the Void itself as Void absorbs matter, kinda like a black hole, and then it collapsed upon itself and exploded whatever was left of the city into pieces. Same goes for Khadgar, I don't really know why he would willingly reach out into the void sphere unless he had some sort of an idea about it

  10. Xal’atath isn’t terrifying to me. She’s like a Disney and Marvel villain mixed as one and just seems way too cartoony. Plus Blizzard did that “oh turn, she’s over there, then there!” Like Meteion did in Endwalker. Meteion was WAY more creepy because she had that dead-blank stare and monotone voice.
