my take on the store, they sell non tangible things for real money as a #GenX that dumb & I have no interest, ALSO anything more then 1$ for anything is a rip off this is a digital items that has a ONE time cost with infinite supply that takes no storage or cost to send so more then $1.00 its too much.
People pay money to play WoW? Gold is so easy to come by… The Brut was 1.5m gold… Easy… Done.
It’s funny. I follow you for so many years and everytime I see a new expansion it’s the same thing. “Good expansion, blizzard is back”. And then after a couple of months it’s always “what happened?”…

For me personally, I think the story was good for TWW but when I was finished with the story and then had do to the inevitable hamster wheel of "do 8 delves every week to make sure you get the best item that may be an item that you don't want" I just realized this isn't for me anymore. Then, when the anniversary was such a failure, combined with the 100$ store mount, I think it just hit the nail in the coffin for me. I think I'm honestly done with WoW. Not interested in future expansions or whatever. Also not judging anyone who still is excited of course.
You should check out Ashes of Creation, although it's only in Alpha 2 and you have to pay to get in, it's a blast.

Ya I agree. From a PvP perspective it's not bad. Class tunings out of control and ratings all over the place. It's like they took the time to make a great product with Battle Ground Blitz, Solo Shuffle, and arenas and then didn't bother themselves with the details to make a truly polished (or fair) experience.

With the mount i have goone trough the whole loop. Starting with anger for it being a buy mount, but than it went to its a AH mount with the previous one being something that would have cost you more than this, a lot more. Now i see it as this: The mount is a way to give more support to blizzard for making this game, this game we love, and have played for so many years now. As a cosmatic unlock within the game itself.

For the 20th anniversary they should sell a full BiS toon with all achievements, all mounts and pets unlocked for $20,000.00. I'm sure they will get some whales to buy it. ahahaha!!!
The War Within is the first Xpac in a while where majority of the player base has been super positive about any Xpac since Legion. Not sure if they just thought since they were in the good graces of the players it would make sense to try to drop something that is such an utter cash grab. If it was maybe half the price it is, didn't have in game use/effects to where it feels somewhat P2W and the 20th anniversary just feeling like a let down for a lot of the players… then I don't think people would be as soured as they are right now towards the game.
Plus, they really need to slowly but steadily start rolling out the additions to Warbands (retroactive reputations for older Xpacs and QoL features in the character screen.), start adding older Xpac's dungeons to the "follower dungeons" (even older raids.),
and to just feel like they are doing more than trying to coast off of the bare bones basics of the new additions to the game.
Just as a few notes of things that would be nice to see actually happening.

Everyone likes the expansion!? LULZ!?!!! My Guild Bank was annihilated, happened to many others, Blizzard still keeps us in the dark…this is the WORST expansion of all time, insane amount of buggs, as for the xpac, not a single heroic male figure…its all wahmen

New blizzard's Warcraft II is sooo stupid idea. Who would even play it? Look at Warcraft II chronicles of the second war – fan made project, soo much better idea. Same with turtle wow and season of discovery. Fan made projects are of much higher quality than anything Blizzard has recently created. Blizzard is dead company unable to create anything of value except 90$ mount.
I started playing back in 2004 at the tender age of 12. It was amazing! 60 levels and a massive world to play in.
What happened to the innovation, the 60 levels? There is minimal effort on the part of Blizzard.

I started playing wow back in classic and played through each expansion but dragon flight was the first time I ever really felt like I was playing a kids game and with the additions of all the woke crap and hero talents that take away from the rp experience I didn't buy war within and I have yet to see anything from it that would make me want to come back I dislike the direction there going and would have to switch it up a lot to bring me back
