World of Warcraft: War Within has its 2025 roadmap all laid out with the upcoming patch 11.1 Liberation of Undermine(d), patch 11.2 and the Midnight reveal, but there’s also the promise of Legion Remix, where we will revisit possibly WoW’s best ever expansion like we did Pandaria in Dragonflight.   1. if i cant get the rogue dagger transmog that changes the blades shape randomly. imma rage man. i was so mad when later down the line i beat the mage tower, only got the gear xmog but no weapons. and all im missing is those daggers and the rapiers.

  8. I hope they do use the legion artifacts for gems and item level upgrades, cool way to do the borrowed power for the remix event.
    Totally agree with separating the currency for upgrades from the currency for rewards.
    I hope i can use existing characters… i already have 20+ alts at level 70 or above. I don't need to create a new character.

    I hope that they will give new color variants of the class mounts. For example, Monk only has 1 mount, would be great to see a new color variant or two. Also, some classes have 1 mount that changes color with spec, it would be great to see those broken out so that the class can choose the color variant., for example Mages have the Prismatic Disc, would be great if you could keep the current one that switches between specs but ALSO to purchase each one separately so my frostfire frost mage could also use the fire (or any) version of the prismatic disc.
    While I'm at it, I'd like to see them break the Dragon Flight transformations the same way. I hate that I cannot select to use the specific mount for the renewed proto-drake, storm-eater, blazing, or shadowflame transformations wihtout going to the Rostrum of Transformation. I don't need this in Legion remix, just in general.
    Hoping they will consider both of these based on their response to the Burden of Unrelenting Justice that cycles and then later updating for us to have the static of each color variant.

    As a wielder of all 3 hunter mage tower weapon transmogs, I am a firm believer in allowing this to be unlocked for all players. I understand the need for some time restricted rewards, but this and even the MOP challenge mode armor are such unique class sets having them available in remix events would be great. It would be cool to just let it become easily soloable as you gear up. Drop a different currency (like the wartusk item in MoP) to allow you to use any class to get currency and buy and transmog.

  9. remix is the only wow i want to play anymore, and i would pay for an expansion of remix over Midnight or more normal WoW stuff. M+ sounds like it would be fun to see how far i can push solo or even with a group of friends. mage tower is a lot harder, but they could just add a tear/level system, like MT level 1-10 with more health and damage. id still want them both in there though

  11. A ton of the long-term fun of Pandaria Remix was collecting weapon transmogs. Being tied to an artifact weapon for the expansion instead of something much more "whatever" like a cloak doesn't sound so great.

  12. Tali might just be putting the mage tower on a pedestal. Mage tower has become a super mythical lore for players, like seeing big foot, bc of the fondness of the memory and experience at a point in ones life. I don't disagree but what % of the pop played mage tower in legion though? I think it was a fairly small % that kind of touched it. Much less played across all classes & challenges. It was a rotating time gate as well. Let's scale the mage tower as the true end game. Accessible for all to start but level up that lego for the YOU ARE NOT PREPARED challenge! (Ascension endless dungeon style?). Start it normal then scale up. I'm talking Delves, Super torghast powers, M+ difficulties modifiers, with visions' choice hard modes? Make it a literal timey whimey sh*t show challenge to brag about. Sign me up.

  14. I'd add all the elite pvp sets to the bronze store list. I fact, forget remix. Just allow us to gain any elite set that's no longer current. At least up to Shadowlands. Why? How many peoe who got the achievement and or title still wear those sets? A handful? Exactly. No one would really care if we can get those sets.

  20. Definitely agree on being able to buy Mage Tower artifact appearances that are different color variations from the originals. The Mage Tower doesn't work in remix…. so that is the only way. Probably tie them to raid currency, like the Tusks of Mannoroth. Maybe the Mage Tower challenges can be single player scenarios?

I’ve been playing wow with my dad since I was four but when legion was around live I wasn’t old enough to play it (I didn’t actually level a character on my own acc till I was 11) but god I wanted to play sooo bad I adored legion I obsessed over every part of it I stayed up late and snuck out of my room to watch my dad play legion so naturally legion holds a uniquely special place in my heart I’m so happy I’ll finally get to actually have the chance to play it the way it somewhat was while it was live

Listen I've always been a bear main and always will, I was young and stupid at the time of legion and didnt got my mage tower werebear apparence, its been years of frustration since then, you have no idea how much hope I put into legion remix to give us recolors of those werebears (not the crappy felbear/0 challenge RNG runebear)

  37. I'm impressed at how anybody can have positive memories of MoP-Remix. I remember being flagged as a frogger even though I had none of the stats of a frogger. I further remember being a complete non-entity in raids, where only one or two players were having fun playing in God Mode, while the rest of us were "pleasuring ourselves" AFK. And yes, I also remember scouting YouTube for Bronze farms to try and, you know, become somewhat relevant in raids… but being chased by the Blizzard Nerf Police, who just really didn't want me to farm any Bronze. I genuinely thought we were mining Bitcoin, or something serious like that, the way they did TERRORISM to prevent us from farming Bronze, until the last couple of weeks when nobody gave a damn anymore… So, really, I'm impressed that anyone can find it in himself even to lie about MoP-Remix and pretend it was good. Even more impressed, of course, if anyone honestly means it. WoW. LOL

  40. The mage tower really is a tough topic. i started playing during legion and the cat form you get from it is the only one i got. i'm immensely proud of it because i was certainly a huge wow noob back then but i was determined to obtain the glowing kitty.

    that being sad i still want to collect more appearances but at the same time i would really miss the challenge for it. the reason the appearance feels so great to use is because of all the effort i put into it. i would be willing to grind my teeth out again for these appearances so i can proudly show off that i mastered the challenge but the progressing gear levels make it really hard to balance it out.

    my idea: a character that doesn't benefit from the borrowed powers. at the start of your experience you select the type of challenge you want to have: either the regular remix or a remix without said powers which enables the mage tower.

    still probably not a great idea but what i actually want most from legion remix is a similar feel as back then. of course especially raiding because i really wasn't ready for that type of content and now i wish to get into a mythic raid group after 8 years of maining my feral druid.

    legion is by far my most favourite expansion out of all in many ways and i really hope they can make the mage tower appearances feel at least a bit more special to everyone instead of being a simple shop option
