  1. Hardcore mode isn't made for WoW.
If a sudden power outage can kill you, the game isn't suited for it unless they change the internal workings.

Meaning if you suddenly go offline, you shouldn't be targetable anymore and any attack prior on the player was done to them, becomes immune.

But only from outside open world, not raids, Dungeons or PvP so it won't get abused intentionally.

  2. Blizzard ruined HC by putting cooldown on dungeons wtf.. made me quit the shitty game🖕 and btw bots are allowed, so blizzard earns more money – so if you report players for botting, nothing will ever happen

Vanilla was good – since the game has been destroyed

  3. Hardcore was something of a dual inspiration.
Yeah from one side of the coin it came from the live community that played on self-made hardcore rules
But I believe the Ascension private server first implemented hardcore which inspired blizzard to implement it as well.

Just as how ascension first implemented the idea of adding custom enchants on gear to add spells/passives which blizzard copied to make season of discovery.

And how ascension made custom dungeons like karazhan crypts and then blizzard copied that as well.
