  1. 5:24 "Stop playing/watching it if you don't like it" is such a Ghostbusters 2016 comeback
Guess what, they don't and leave.
Bet when they say that shit, it makes them feel superior cuz they think they're so addicted they'll come back
    They don't.

  2. cataclysm expansion that destroys the game as you know, then rebuild it over the course of other expansions easy.
new towns, new characters, new gearing, new questing
easy, just work and blizzard devs don't do that

  3. The pvp problem is largely the players own doing. There was a very entitled, elitist attitude among many of the highest ranked players.

These guys wanted all the best rewards exclusively for themselves. So the best gear had ratings restrictions, and that gear was typically around 15% higher stats.

I told them it was going to be an artificial barrier to obtaining rewards and that it would hurt participation, and I was correct.

I haven't bought or touched a blizzard product since 2016, but I still keep up with the news. Glad to see things are still getting worse lol.

  4. I think they should just make world pvp the emphasis. You're never going to make a serious pvp system, so just make it a chaotic free-for-all, with lots of different objectives players from all skill levels can interact with, then make PvP rewards completely outside the activity, like a PvP challenge/achievement system, but the activity is a good way to expose yourself to opportunities to complete said challenges/achievements, then include PvE content within that PvP activity, so world bosses, quartermasters, etc. Kind of like giving the world area an Alterac Valley treatment.

  5. i think they should put arena pvp into a separate game mode like the brawlers guild or something. a person that ques random battlegrounds should be able to receive the same quality of gear that is currently available only to ranked games. i think mythic level content is is a lazy approach to try and keep players logging in regularly. if the idea is to reuse irrelevant content, the current time walking is a good approach. although they should make it to where the mobs drop relevent crafting materials.

  6. its not just overdesign in class its just basically everything is just to bloated.
and even worse is the vibe of wow.
it feels like the target audience blizzard wants to reach are oni chan femboys that like if things are over the top cute and adorable.

  7. PVP? moba style BG 5v5, you heal minions and damage enemy towers, kill mini bosses to earn OP buffs. Solo qeue random BGs, give good rewards for long-term but pretty easy stuff, like kill/assist 100 000 (and more) enemies in BGs etc and ofc decent gear.
Whole game? Needs a reset for sure, it should be focused on rewards for long term participation but easy stuff, during the best times of WoW the best players were those who showed up, attendance&reliability above all. Thats what makes MMO.

  8. I just lost interest because its not the same game/universe anymore. Art direction is entirely different so is humor, writing, characters and wow most of us grew up with. Lore is an overexplained joke and somehow they made old gods boring.
Its very soulless and feels like ffXIV but if anything close to nudity was censored. Just stopped caring about how "good" the most recent goyslop patch borrowed power is or how balanced the classes are and i forgot wow existed for half a year before some wow video was recomended a day or two ago.

  9. The best part he said; "I want people to play".

Personally, I was relatively active in PVP during WOTLK & BFA because it was a fun thing to do when I was done with PVE activities or when my m+ team was not available. Nowadays even though sometimes I feel like queuing for arena I quickly decide not to go for it because it is way too complicated, and there are zero rewards I can get from PVP that I can use for PVE, so why bother?

Totally agree with Asmon on this 1… Blizz delete half the buttons. I dont fully agree with the addons but Blizz has to figure out a way to drastically reduce their need. Weakauras should be no means be a requirement to do any content at any skill level.

  10. put a freakin stamina mechanic in the game too please and movement speed stat not only buffs, it is so slow to move in this game, I played 14 years , other games just felt so good on mobility feeling , never returned , I quit at legion , peaked at shadowlands a bit , never again like this

  11. Dota 2 simplified all of their damage types (there used to be like 10, now there are like 3) and nobody accused it of catering to casuals. It just made the game more complicated. Now I don't have to explain to my friends who are new the difference between hp removal vs chaos damage vs universal damage.

  12. wouldnt having some sort of elastic work? like say i got 2400 season 1, season 2 starts and im at 0 no instead of getting 90 per win maybe i get 180 per win and instead of losing wtv youd lose 50% of the usualy until you're at 1800? and from then youd get 120 per win and lose a bit a more untill 2k and once your give or take a couple hundred from what ur previous rank was ur gain and loss would normalize. that way it would always push players to get as high of a rating as possible (and it would could your season peak to avoid the whole "oh i dont think ill get higher so ill sit for the season" mentality) each season to make the next season push a little easier, it would clear up the lower ranks from all the glads on those first couple of weeks. i know a few games that do this, and like the first few weeks feel great, and you also tend to not get "hardstuck" at certain points

  13. My honest opinion as a new player is if they want to keep new people around the game needs to be mechanically easier to jump in and play with more focus on casual fun gameplay and fun things to do out in the world in zones for exploring (delves seem to be a step in the right direction)

Im personally really enjoying the game it has really interesting lore and places to see. But there is way to much unessisary bloat i agree that a reset/overhaul is needed for sure

  14. I can doubtless say, heal isn’t fun. Neither dungeon nor raid. People step into colorful circles except of the ones from their healer…
You can spam heals out so that everybody lives. If the try is over people say typically 2 things. You didn’t heal enough or you as the healer didn’t do enough dmg…
Every m+ affix feels like another punishment for the healer because the rest of the pack didn’t feel to play mechanics…
On top of all ist absolute antifun that a tank outheals you.
Tanks should get more tanky with their abilities not heal themselves.

  15. There are too many goddamn buttons. I’m a multi glad rogue and I’m gonna be playing other classes this season because they gave us like 4 new ones that need to be hit in intense situations. Even palumor is doing the same thing for the same reason. If the game has too many buttons even for the upper echelon of players it’s a problem.

  16. The game is not more fun when you remove abilities that is the worst advice I have ever heard. Does no one remember the great prune of warlords of draenor and Legion? Most of the classes in Legion felt horrible to play including warrior.

  17. I used to do PvP for fun and I was somewhat decent (was 2 rating away from the T2 weapon (yeah, 2198)and my team mates didn't want to play one more game so I can get it because the rest of them already went over the threshold (we were 4 in total, with me as a warrior and another buddy on his warrior in the team)) I could never live past the teasing about these 2 rating from them and my guild. I was annoyed but in the end I did have fun with them. I left the game because it felt like a second job. And honestly, after working my stressful and hard job I don't want to come home to work another job for "fun". Bgs were fun when I went with friends because a well coordinated team of like three or 4 people can turn the tide in most small to mid size BGs (heck, even alterac valley if you got your main tank with you and you guys raid mythic content) but in the end the game got boring. Progress felt nonexistent, dailies felt like requirements to even be "up to date" on gear/currency and it just kept piling on and on. Gold became worthless and ingredients for raids (flasks and pots) were insanely expensive so you had to grind herbalism/alchemy on your alts in order to prepare your main for raiding… It felt like a side job to your main job or playing your main. It was fun while it lasted, but no more. The best times are gone and they will never replicate the same feeling we all had while playing vanilla, getting to 40 and begging people for gold to buy ourselves that 60% mount just so we don't have to run on foot through the eastern kingdoms or kalimdor, the awe, spectacle and beauty of outland and northrend and it's dungeons, the amazing story they had at the beginning, before it all got watered down and their creativity grinded to a halt so they had to pull stories out of their asses, where there was a time for basically every class/spec to shine in one point in time….

  18. Its all about the stuff.
Stuff being shoveled into the themepark for the customers to collect and hort and display to others.
Just like real life. Look at single family homes in american suburbs.
Its a mirror. Thats why classic wow booms and thats why hardcore booms. Because its not about collecting stuff, but being on a journey. It really is as simple as that.

  19. WoW goes too far, i cant catch everithing and i play this game 15 years, how to explain to my girl what she need to do as a new player.
Ppl like classic because the simple the better.
If you ask me imagine WoW that is clasic, tbc, wotlk, cata and legion as a end game , as a storyline w/o other expansions. (MoP, WoD …)
and classic is 50lvl tbc 55… till 70 lvl (max legion)
and to go from classic to tbc storyline you need to do PVE or PVP progress like finish "Molten Core" or PVP 1500 arena rating.
That way ppl cant max lvl in few days and get stack in a tons off unfinished business.
    everything would have value
    Professions
    Low lvl items
PVP in every time, an every LVL
Good time playing old Instances like (ICC) and ppl of higher instances cant help you in PVE progress.
    What do you think?

  20. It's an RPG, balancing for PvP is dogshit for RPG's and new comers aren't ever going to want to start doing it against people that are more geared and knowledgeable than them.
