They will do it regardless for the nostalgia train. I will not be falling victim. I recommend ascension wow. Free to play. A little goofy at first. But it’s a lot of fun !
Lich and cata was the downfall if you look at the subscriptions. Now they do cata classic, it sure shows that they are disconected to the community.

Cataclysm was the beginning of the end for me. I do like some aspects of newer expansions, but mostly it's just reuse upon reuse, just rebrand it and hope no one notices.

If you boil it right down, what sucked about cata was the changes to the old world.
Sure lfr was introduced but who is honestly sad enough to get upset about that.
