Wym failure of the first movie? I know countless of people that loved it I am not a movie fan i actually dont like watching any but god did i enjoy that WoW movie.
How can they say the movie was a failure when it was clearly a love letter to all the real fans who have played since Vanilla? I liked it and I agree WOTLK would make a great movie…
People that have played WoW or any version of Warcraft, or read the books, understood and followed the movie easily, but too many of those that had had never been introduced to any of it before were quickly lost as to who people were and what was going on and why, which is probably why it didn't do as well as it should have. It can be hard to try and see things through the eyes of others, someone that knows all about WoW's lore and stories can easily overlook many of the details that someone facing it for the first time needs to know.
The sad story about that is, that the 2016 movie is such actually a really good movie, cgi is just astonishing, the Charakters, costumes and world looks so amazingly good. The problem are the people who didn't considered it to go to the theater and watch it because fans of the game are related to it the most.

The first movie was good, missed some lore things but overall was a solid movie and one of the best video game movies up to that point in time easily.

Noo not another movie. Instead, make a tv series. There's way too much lore to do just a movie.

I thought it was okay could been better and more indepth but then most people would find it boring tou could please everyone
The 2016 movie was NOT a failure. It was a great movie for its kind even with a bit of the campy.. It is one of my favorites!
