Alleria once caused a localized void invasion when she just got close to the Sunwell and for this she and her people were exiled. She not only has a void naaru inside her but she is apparently getting whispers directly from the Void Lords themselves and as she states in the War Within trailer her whispers are not like the others.

Well in Midnight elves are reuniting which means Alleria and the void elves return to Quel’Thalas again and lo and behold a massive void lord invasion will happen that will engulf all of Azeroth. Alleria’s and Xala’taths rivalry is going to be a huge thing in the new expansion but seeing that we know what will happen it seems pretty evident who is going to win the battle. What is Alleria up to, is she going to willingly betray us or is she going to get manipulated just as we will?

  1. An important thing to remember is that Alleria REALLY wants Blood Elves back in Alliance. She even made a few tiny-veild threats that if they would not see reason, she will bring them back by force. Granted-she may have calmed down a bit after BfO. But still… if this doesn't sound as hook- I don't know.

  2. When you have a rivalry brought out of your ass and instead of showing in the story itselft that rivalry, you have the creators telling you before hand about this one, you will have a story that can't be linked to the whole story at all and will appear as a stand alone one that was never revealed through the old story whatsoever or the foreshadowings pieces of it. This type of writing is bad and is on the level of bad storytelling just like D&D did to the season 8 of GoT, especially seen in the character of Daenerys, where the whole point of her character was to not be like her father the Mad King and in the last episodes, without prior showing of pieces in the story or foreshadowing this behaviour, she did go into becoming Mad Queen, like we had one Daenerys for season 1 to 7 and in season 8 we had the 2nd Daenerys. This type of writing seems disconnected from the continuity of the story. It shows clearly that the writers are banging their heads between them. It's bad…. Yes, for the story of Knifu is ok to be linked to the entire Warcraft and make her some villain, but to brought a rivalry with Alleria is too much. At least introduce Alleria as a major rival to Xal'Atath in the first place and then create the rivalry, instead of not showing anything of these 2 and bring a rivalry for them out of your ass and speak about it on the presentation for the game. These new wave writers, from all of entertainment, believe we are stupid and beneath them and they will try to explain to us everything instead of showing us and let us decide for ourselves. This happens in movies, in series, in games. Everywhere…

  3. I am a Blood Elf…I am Horde…and I have been since I started playing in Burning Crusade. I don't want to be "Neutral" and I CERTAINLY don't want to be f'ing Alliance. They really need to rethink this nonsense about an Elf 'Reunification". Pretty sure there are plenty of long term Night Elves that don't want to be Neutral either.

  5. It’s been said many times the void is not good or evil it just exists and sees infinite possibilities. The idea that 2 people affected by its power could have 2 entirely different goals causing the one thing the void likes, chaos. Even the old gods fought each other for control and power. The only thing we know for positive about the void is they hate the light. Everything else is biased opinions depending on how you see them.

  6. So she's gonna be controlled by the evil naaru, unleash the bad guys and then end up as a raid boss. After we slap her around for a while she'll be like "thanks, I needed that." Then she's going to go on a long journey into the maw and do some soul-searching and when she comes back she'll have a grizzled beard and all her powers will be gone. Then Thall's gonna be like "hey didn't we just do this?"

  7. If blizzard continues working with companies like sweet baby the story is going to be retarded. all the speculation videos on the lore of every expansion since cata has been way belter than anything blizzard has actually given us.

  8. The two sides of the same coin thing, it's not like we haven't had that before. Sargeras, a Order titan, became a leader the Burning Crusade. Which was populated by beings of Fel, of the disorder bit. Maybe a stretch to bring up. Also, Elune's relationship with the Death Pantheon…. makes you wonder if the opposite switching is more prevalent then we'd think.
