Anima – We Asked For This! WoW Shadowlands Warcraft Weekly

Lately the low grumbling of discourse has turned to Anima, the slow-to-farm resource to purchase cosmetics and fun quality of life perks. Not so suddenly we hear a call for an account wide sanctum, anima sharing and multipliers to speed up the process.
Here’s my response.

  1. My biggest bitch is gearing I do 7 keys and get 0 loot makes me not want to do keys. I am now leveling a monk just yanking dungeons I am level 55 and I have got 4 pcs of gear that are upgrades and this toons ilvl was 100. This is why I say its not as alt friendly as BFA. I find it frustrating to complete a dungeon and get 35 anima what a JOKE…I could care less about anima I go get it it when I want. I just want to be able start doing keys and raiding. for example I ran +2 or 3 HOA 10 time before I finally got the neck I wanted and the great vault is a JOKE as well seems like I get same slot ever damn week in 3 choices. I dont like to pvp so that don't work for me

  2. My gripe about anima is that if you don’t get loot from a mythic + dungeon or a raid boss you get 35 anima. But some world quests you literally sneeze at gives you anywhere from 35 to 140 anima. If you ask me, the anima rewards for the dungeons and raids should have a higher drop than world quests. It’s like saying they think the world quests are harder and worth a bigger reward than mythics and raids.

  3. They've made improvements, that doesn't mean its alt friendly

Some people asked for an end to the grind. Not a dozen smaller, drip feed grinds. Putting a cap on the grind is one thing, making the amounts you can get per window, insulting small is another. Time vs reward my guy.

  4. There was a reason why people had seperate servers up for classic. They liked classic not burning crusade or anything after that. By progressing the game more, they're going to lose what makes classic classic.

  5. Here's the problem with the anima drip though: The pure amount of time it takes to get these rewards. Even just upgrading the sanctum will likely be days of playtime worth of getting that anima. If there isn't an "anima knowledge" the amount of time it takes to unlock these rewards is just ridiculous.

  6. TBC should open on a new server but with the database snapshotted in the day of release and poured over to the new TBC side so you can continue on where you left off in VANILA into TBC or if you decide its not for you and you preferred VANILA the characters are still there as you left them.

  7. Just allow us to trade redeemed souls for anima, fixed.
Also, I think current AP is an obvious mistake; would blizz really give us 15 redeemed souls that they expected us to be unable to use?
No, those extra soils are clearly meant to be exciting to us, and right now they are not, since we are realistically unable to use the souls we get right now

  8. Hey Soul, always enjoy watching your content, my wife and I have been playing wow ever since vanilla and other than xmog/gold farming one of our favorite things to do is two man new content dungeons, always satisfying to down a boss with only two peeps. Reminds us of soloing old raid content before the buff systems

  9. Yay you did druid! 😀

I totally agree on the anima stuff…. I'm in no hurry to buy all the mounts (even though obviously I need them) just because I foresee a time in the near future when we'll have too much anima and nothing to buy. I mean the part of me that wants everything NOW is impatient, but the logical part of me is content to see how things play out and be patient.

  10. The issue with arguing that PVP should be included in how Alt-Friendly the game is at the moment is that a lot of people hate PVP.
I personally LOATHE PVP. Feeling forced to do it to gear up an alt because Blizzard is being so stingy with gear drops fucking sucks.

  11. I yell at the bread vendor in stormwind and tell him nobody wants his bread. i've also ticketed a gm in hopes of getting him removed from the game. all in all, I am trying to literally kill an npc in the game.
