Is this another huge win for World of Warcraft? The Mists of Pandaria Remix – a brand new game mode coming to WoW that will allow us to reexperience Pandaria in a whole new way. Faster leveling, new abilities, items, things to collect and more. But is the community already divided too greatly by Classic, Hardcore, WotLK (soon Cataclysm), Season of Discovery, and Dragonflight? Will this new Remix version of World of Warcraft be a good thing or bad?

  1. As I understand it, it's going to be like Plunerstorm, you start with a fresh character, level 10, and you do the quests and such, picking up talent abilities along the way. No talent trees. When you get to 70 or when the event is over, you can take your character and all the loot into retail. I'm interested to see how this works, especially if I have to delete established lowbies in my huge roster of characters to keep that one. But, I loved Pandaria and I can't wait for it.

  2. I'm not really interested in Cata or Pandaria…I'm playing HC. But it's a good idea for Blizzard just to release a server of each ex-pac or version, placate everybody

  3. MoP was a good expansion but was terribly advertised, this wasn't a kung fu panda expansion made for kids, this was a battle between the alliance and the horde for a new continent on a land that was alive with old gods, an emperor with a weapon to erase whole cities, and the siege of a major city of a faction!

this expansion rocked, hope they add more content like in SoD

  4. Perhaps they are testing the waters for MoP classic? It's definitely interesting and blizzard is just in full blown experimental mode now lol I hope with the faster pace of Cata that we will actually have time to do all of these things rather than more FOMO.

  5. Anyone complaining about these new side versions are brain dead. I don't really like Plunderstorm but it is a great test and nice addition. I am really looking forward to this Panda one.

  6. Nixiom, if you are that bore of playing WoW, you can literally play anything else, hard to not look down on you while asking blizzard to give you anything to do in the game.

  7. I'm wasn't a huge fan of MoP. It was alright. The entry sequence from the airships was neat but I'm not a fan of pandas. They're kind of silly. The bug people were a good bad guy. Who doesn't like doing thier part in the war against the bugs?!

I might mess with this to see how things work out with no AH, and to see how the storyline development fits in with the leveling process. I read another comment on how this seemed to them like some testing of a way to replace Chromie Time. That I agree with. CT is to fast. You can't even finish the story quests before getting told to go to more current content.

  8. It Mists of Pandaria God Mode, you start at lvl 10 intil you become a god at the end. When the mode end you give up your god power to return to Azeroth to save her soul or you keep some of the god power like the gear and gems.

  9. Once again blizzard are just playing on our nostalgia. Every single content cycle as of late (ICC, sod, cata, plunderstorm, panda remix) is just trying to lure us into resubbing.

Happens every time – they put all their resources into the upcoming expansion and basically forget about their current content and implement last ditch efforts to try to salvage sub numbers. Good riddance.

Obviously WoW is not dead, but the WoW that you knew and loved is dead.

  10. Blizzard dropped the ball a long time ago. Eastern Kongdom, Kalimdor, Outland, Northrend, Pandaria, Draenor, Zandalar, Kul Tiras, Shadowlands and dragon Islands thet could use them all instead of making every piece of old content obsolete
