This is the only wow channel i see, all the others lack of the black humor and sascarn that i need weekly.
At this point I just want to get through shadowlands as the expansion just hasn't really done it for me but the supposed change in ethos that we are being teased with is getting me kind of excited to see what comes in 10. Time will tell but the next expansion needs to be good or I'll be joining the long line of players to close the door on my wow adventures.

As for 9.2… I think it's still copium at this point. I feel like they've burned us so many times that they aren't worthy of benefit of the doubt anymore, and these changes (while they seem good and sound nice) don't address the issues that plague the real meat of the game. We don't know what sort of ridiculous borrowed power system they're going to implement. It feels a lot like they're throwing some bones to point out "hey look, we've changed!" but they've done that before too.
Beyond that, I think the greater issue of the community remains. People in Wow are still generally toxic. The game still requires heaps of addons to play. The vault of disappointment loot lottery still exists. M+ still feels like masochism, because all of the affixes are player punishments instead of fun new ways to run the dungeons. I have been spoiled by FFXIV and other games. Now that myself and many others know how good it COULD be, seeing these half measures from Blizzard isn't enough to tempt me back in. I don't care about the story anymore – it's a write-off, and there are much better alternatives.
More than any of those things, the game is still built as a thinly-veiled metrics-driven chore. You are still required to do incredible amounts of maintenance chores every single week to stay relevant and be able to run things with your friends. It's just not… fun.
This is all, of course, still setting aside the absolute dumpster fire that is ActiBlizz as a company, which by itself is reason enough for me to not play.

WoW was mostly a lobby game now its 100% a lobby game. zero world in world of warcraft. no one does anything but sit in town waiting for raid or dungeon to start as is ignoreing 99.9% of the 90 gigs of data. why do ppl even complain when they just lobbysit as is and thats all they want to do. will they vice versa and allow someone to time grind gear without dungeons or raids to even things up? dungeons get old fast you see a spike in gameplay on release then player base slowly dies as doing the same map over and over gets old.

Here's a twist, it's called "Kingsmourne" could it have a plural meaning? Kings mourn, perhaps? After all, Shalamayne is two swords after all, Shalla'tor and Ellemayne. In Darnassian, Shalla'tor means Shadow Render, while Ellemayne means Reaver. While Ellemayne had a red gem, Shalla'tor had a blue one instead. It may make no sense as to why Zovaal has Varian's soul, the red part, it isn't too far fetched to think perhaps that he did get the blue version of Varian's soul when they were reformed. It probably makes more sense that when the two Varians were merged they reformed into one. But Shalamayne is one and comes a part and there's the whole soul splitting thing too… and I will NOT give up on the idea that something odd happened when Gul'dan killed Varian, there's a part where he looks confused as to what is happening.
I do think it is Arthas but I also think that a part of Varian's soul is also in Kingsmourne. Kings mourn.

This is so like Blizzard, gave us a covenant into cinematic focusing on this NPC, getting hyped, only to have him showed up as objectives of 2 campaign quest and DEAD. Then we have this little NPC that no one really cares about, running errands here and there, and turns out to be the BIGGEST winner. Blizzard doesn't care about your opinion and feedback, or your shitty feelings. They just do they, great concept, horrible implementation, and no regrets to break your hypes.

The Rogue tier set bonuses are kinda meh.

This ritual will be called the rites of transference or trans rites for short.

The Alt-Friendly stuffs added to 9.1.5 were nice and welcome, but incomplete.
Case in point, the Gear Upgrading for Korthian Armaments to Ranks 5 and 6 requires the toon to purchase the two [Research Report] items for 4,000 and 8,000 Research, respectively.
9.1.5 removed the Tier requirement – but you still need to spend that 12,000 Research on the Reports themselves.
That should not have been needed. Using the Reports on ONE toon should have unlocked the upgrade ability on ALL toons.
I would have been much happier spending that 12,000 Research on actually upgrades for my 12 toons.
About time us girlz get a bit of eyecandy in the game too :3 So far we have only had Wrathion… and maaaaybe bloodelf males (after blizzard granted them a behind)

Damn you two that intro made me laugh so hard i hurt my stomach LUL, I really really hope they changes you talk about are true please for the love of god let them be true only thing i would have liked would be different from what you said is 100% increase in currency for alts instead of 50% but if those changes are true for me personally im going to spend one hell of alot of time back in wow again like i did before SL but if they are going to make currency at 50% for alts then please make reputation account bound it the one thing since tbc i could never understand why its not then when they announced making mounts pets toys etc account bound i hoped it would include rep i just hope they will do that one day.
I'd honestly be very suprised if the cypher wasn't heavily time gated. I think at this point Blizzard don't even know how to do a progression system without time gating it anymore. Will probably take you upwards of 2 months to complete would be my guess. And hey, I'll be glad if they prove me wrong, I just highly doubt they will.

I have no problem with player power grinds at all, BUT the issue is the way they were implemented just fucking sucked. I'm tired of time gating. Getting rid of that alone would make most of the content a million times better. I hated knowing if I had an hour to play, or 5 hours to play, I'd still only get the same amount of things done because of stupid time gating. Let me play at my pace and don't punish me for having a life, like, I don't think that's unreasonable. Somehow RPGs managed to do that more or less decently for what, decades?
If all the power lies in Raiding, How is it that you are not forced to raid if you want decent gear. Korthia gear is no where as good as raid gear, but at least it was something. I dont see anyhing but hype. Sounds like they are taking away options, not adding them.

Arthas being Anduin's sword buddy, while hilarious, is also very touching especially if he were to tell Anduin not to succumb to the void. Sort of full circle for Arthas, corrupted by a cursed blade, to save Anduin's soul, as a blade himself.
