There is also a soft spoken narration of the base game manual for the original version of World of Warcraft.   2. Love these videos, even though I don't really care about WoW. It's the passion and, of course, the voice that keeps me coming back. I would love longer soft spoken videos in Swedish, too, but I understand that they don't get as many views, which is a shame. It's such a lovely language, even though I can only understand the few words that are similar to English. Have a great Sunday Erudwen!

  3. I still have my original box set like this except I have the 5 disc version. I remember it was an all night ordeal to install the game back in the early 2000s with my computer only have .512 memory and dsl internet and all the patch updates. But once installed I was in love with the game. Great video Erudwen per usual, brought back some good memories.

  11. The box artwork, I used to see it everywhere in stores as a child.
    I know all about stealing the fun stuff from my older sibling too.
    I have a white lego horse, a mini Tepig figure and a Card Capture Sakura book of cards (I gave him my book of them but I don't know what happened to it) so I think I either have mine back or his.
    I have found the end of the year to be hellishly stressful the past couple of years due to people just…not being the best to me and my health.
    Never realized how badly that effected me until this year.

    Though I do enjoy Christmas a lot. I have my own tree this year and I bought decorations for it. I always wanted that.
    I love the table cloth you had for the background. It's nostalgic and beautiful.

    I really do hope Christmas is good. I remember saying something about hopefully you get more Moomin last time.

  16. I had the box with 4cd's (i think it was 4, but am not 100) sadly i gave it to one of my college mates, so he could install it and never got it back.. cdkeys were activated, so not like i lost much.. but still, would like to have them back

I have a pet theory that part of the reason wow blew up like it did is because it came out when the first wave of serious gamers that grew up with gaming were reaching college age / early adulthood thus finding themselves with little adult supervision and a game to spend an irresponsible amount of time on. Just the right game and the right time.
