  1. No idea why i'm commenting this but the Bastion music in the background was so subtle that I was wondering why I was feeling emotional listening to this video. Great music. Oh and yeah Shadowlands woo.

  2. It's a bit a misnomer to say that multiboxing is dead, is it harder now? yeah, but following still works, and farming you've just to click each account window. Old content mob farms will still be viable too, since as long as your in the party, you still get the loot. So it'll make thins a bit slower for Multiboxers, but not impossible. Not to mention, the multiboxing change is a change of the rules, there are blue posts saying this way fine before, and it's cost Blizzard millions in people being done with WoW now.

    As for what's going to happen, prices will increase, on everything, including WoW Token. So, you're gonna make more money, but stuff's gonna cost more as well, so all in all, not a whole lot's changing there.

  3. I’m curious whether disconnecting Covenants from player power is something they flat-out do not want to do, or they secretly do want to but they’re too far into the system and it’s fine-tuning to go back on it.

    Edit 2: I started post-MoP (end-ish of WoD), and have personally enjoyed the “go here, do this” design. I have a bad habit of forgetting about or not bothering with the “optional” stuff.

    Not sure how I’ll feel about this change in philosophy once I get my hands on it, but I’m optimistic for now.

  4. Sorry but that we are supposed to have the choice is bullshit and you, Preach, know it. We have to do Torghast for our Legendary, we have to do the Maw for our sockets, we have to level up our Renown, we have to farm Conduits etc. because Blizzard is stubborn in their core phylosophy about designing content. In their mind when they design content like Thorgast they seem to know that they have fo force us in order to play that content because that content doesn't seem to be a lot of fun. The same with the maw: if the maw would have been purely voluntary we wouldn't to that content.

  6. I think you (and Ion) are right about player base having a mentality change. Half of the people that give feedback have either played the game since Legion so they don't know wtf they are talking about or they are lazy asses who sit in trade chat complaining about raider.io. People say the devs are out of touch with the player base, which is likely true, but I also think a large portion of the player base are also out of touch

  7. 17:20 That's just not true. You still have your things to grind. You still have mandatory things. And there isn't any great new form of content. Even world quests are still there, just less of them.

  8. They should just keep the covenant general abilities but the class specific spell should be a choice from bolvar bestowed upon the player with the last of the helm of dominations power. It solves both the covenant choice issue and then opens up a real choice and easier to balance the class specific stuff. Could even actively swap it out via the last helm fragment like the core of the ship on the argus zones. Literally works for everyone. The cosmetic and mount collectors can then grind out all 4 covenants over the course of the expansion, enjoying all content, without destroying their player power due to it being a separate mechanic to the covenants – easy

  9. The balance bit does not make sense for healers. When Holy Paladins and Disc Priests do everything better than their counterparts in a raid (More HPS, passive DPS, Absorbs), it feels pretty bad to play any other healer. You just feel less useful, even if you might be a better player.

    Also the numbers on certain dps specs have been higher than other all the fucking time, enhance feral etc have been dogshit at every aspect of the game for years. Are the Blizzard devs really this dense?

    It does not feel good to consistently play a spec that does significantly less healing or damage than others in every tier. Just tune the fucking numbers. They made Holy Paladins ridiculously overpowered and didn't knock them down a peg for THE REST OF THE FUCKING EXPANSION.

    Clowns.
