  1. I don't know a single person that didn't upgrade their PS4 to 1TB, and wish I'd slapped a 2TB in there. Why is it so many companies seem out of touch with reality/their customers? Glad I decided to stick with my policy of waiting awhile before buying a new console instead of buying at launch. Yeesh

  2. I have to feel sorry for anyone working at Blizzard. Especially during a pandemic. They must go into work each day wondering if it's going to be their last day. Morale must utterly suck there.
I hope things improve for them soon. ♥

  3. I wonder if Bobby Kotick appreciates the grift of putting his evil grin on thumbnails to attract views.
It does such a good job at getting people to click, surely as a businessman he can't possibly be mad at it.

  4. Here in the United States, a bottle of coke at the convenience store was $0.89 in 2003. A triple-A video game cost $59.99 in 2003. A bottle of coke at the convenience store costs $1.69 in 2020. A triple-A video game costs $59.99 in 2020. That's why so many premium games now have micro-transactions – consumers didn't want to pay the higher initial price despite inflation and increased development costs, and no game company wanted to be "that company" to raise the initial price. The $10 price increase in some triple-A titles is still inadequate for offsetting inflation and the increasingly complex development workflow and scale of the newer titles. Unfortunately, people not wanting to see a price increase has resulted in micro-transactions that are now here to stay, because no game company will want to let go of that cash cow now that they have it. So now we have an increase in initial price AND micro-transactions.

  5. Wait, people think 600GB is enough storage for a console generation? I’ve got 4 TB of SSD on my PC. And I still need to go cleaning my storage.

Like I know PS5 has a unique storage device, but the fact you can’t upgrade it and you can only run the new games on the SSD will mean a lot of deleting old games.

  6. I've installed Cold War Zombies & Multiplayer, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Spider-Man MM, Demon's Souls, Sackboy, Godfall & Mafia. I've got 342GB leftover. Plenty for more games. Also games are super fast to install so it's not an issue for me.

  7. They are just gonna overpriced their games and whine that it does indeed bring great value to us, when in fact, the game is probably not worth more than $10…

  8. Cyberpunks value is what is expected at 60, the fact that other games prices at 60 and fails to delivery the same level of value is not to up CP2077 monetary value but completely highlights the lesser level of value being sold at 60. CDPR delivery that value other publishers are ripping you off.

  9. Your argument about variable pricing requires trust for AAAs. You assume they will price higher for better games without other forms of monetization. I neither trust them to fairly price their games compared to content/quality nor do I trust them to exclude other forms of monetization when they increase prices.

  10. High quality games nowadays are way too cheap, game developers earn way too little, I would welcome 100$ games with open arms if I could be guaranteed that developers got paid more AND the game would not contain microtransactions OR downloader content except for large DLC's that add a ton of contain, I am sick and tired of preorder skins.
