no, a good deal would be to face reality and make retail wow f2p. there's no other way i'm playing it anyway. if i really want to i'll go private server,. subscription model has ran its course.
There’s certainly something to say about how potentially strong a “finale” of sorts can grab alotta people’s attention, even new players just seeing wow players reactions and getting sucked in by that gravity.
It’s certainly better than just offering a “good deal” on a skip button.
If you think the case shop is bad now, to all those other like-minded opinion, let them make WoW f2p it’ll be 1000000 times worse. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. I say all this with all due respect, and as someone whom has played both free to play and not free to play games for decades.
And as usual, the devs are still playing games with flight. All flying mounts will be 'dragon riding' until you grind out some kind of pathfinder achievement so you can get your normal flight back.
Quite important to note that TWW now includes Dragonflight, so if you're a new player and you buy this for £20 then decide you want to carry on, there's another £40 purchase required to continue, so you pay £60 total.
But then if you just buy TWW (which includes DF) and two months of a regular sub, that will be £40 + £20 so it's £60 again.
So it's not really a deal, it's just the normal price shuffled around a bit – but it does give someone the option of a lower entry point, though they'll have to shell out the same amount in the end.
I plan to purchase this bundle tomorrow. I've been playing a few toons up to level 20 for a few weeks & have been enjoying it. I've really been enjoying this MoP Remix. This bundle is great for a beginner. My toughest decision might be whether to use the level 60 boost on one of my level 20 toons or use it on a brand new toon. I'll also have to learn how to unlock those other "allied" races because I definitely want to mess around with them.
meh shadowfart killed wow for me wont come back for more fake promises.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by the brilliant women in this community.🧡
The level of intellectual curiosity displayed in this thread is contagious. It's a joy to be a part of.👄

unironically DO NOT BUY THIS
What got me back into wow recently was the idea of a good story in World Soul Saga, and a finale of sorts.
Mommy blizzard's deals are always good 💜
Another grift that sparks of desperation to get more subs, because their projection is way down.

Get new players by making a good game not stupid ass flash sales. But they cant make a good game anymore so its all they got

This is a very good deal for new players. I’m actually a little shocked it’s so low.
Its a good deal. I got it just because its cheaper than 2 months anyway and you get the boost on top of it so why not..
