LFR needs to be included, or this is going to be just one more convoluted system that is useless for 60-70% of the playerbase.

I think they need to find a way to make going to past raids for content and gear in other ways. The initial process of this gearing system sounds really cool especially with the three tokens. My goodness tho how can you not see the cypher currency system being absolutely terrible for upgrades. Just use another token for the other 2 difficulties and put the gear on the vendors! They are going wayyyyyy to complex with this.
Sou nds to me like another way of trying to keep the players in the game as long as possible. I mean, 30 Bosskills to get one token and then another 20 kills to upgrade it and so on…sepulcher has 10 bosses if im right so that makes 3 weeks just of stupid bossfarming, or maybe 2 weeks and a bit, when the others raids rotate…still such a huge timeinvest for so little…absolutely worthless system again
I love this system and hope they continue it in dragonflight. I also hope that they integrate it into LFR too, since many people don't have guilds to raid with.

– doing dungeons -> get points -> buy gear and maybe upgrade like now in 9.2 but with a bigger weekly cap of points and less levels
i wonder if you can only drop the antique cyphers once per boss per week, or if you kill the same boss on different runs you can still drop them
sounds like Season 4 is only for Raiders, so i guess that means my plans to gear up and gold farm until Dragonflight will remain unchanged.

As usual everything is about raiding. The majority don’t raid, what are they doing for them until march next year..

looks like i won’t play season 4 and dragonflight then. i only play m+ so if m. gear isn’t optainabld by doing what i want to i’ll move on

Needs to be available in LFR as well, no everyone can raid with a guild or deal with PuGs…
I like the system, though it would be fun to have the upgrade items drop in normal mode, letting you upgrade some gear to heroic quality.
I have always hated gear on vendors, but I am glad people are happy.
Personally, this is the way to follow. Pls, bring back deterministic gear for PVE; since Season 3 of SL has began I've not yet looted one single weapon and I'm currently still going around with a weapon from Sanctum Heroic, this is not right.
Hows that fair if you can take 3 items and some ppl use 2h and some need two 1h
Again classes which have different primary stat for other specs are forgotten.
Main Holy paladin or mistweaver monk?.. hope you do not like to play other specs .. you wont get extras for them.
What about lfr, im an adult with family and work. So LFR is perfect for me since i can do it whenever i have the time.
A waste of resources and won't help the majority of players.
It's too complicated. I'm a casual that plays solo so with no one to tell me what these vendors do how they work and where they are located how am I ever to know?
