Choosing your covenant in WoW Shadowlands can be a very difficult choice when trying to make a choice that balances all the aspects of the gameplay experience they bring, so in this video I try to help you decide, by highlighting what’s important with the covenant system, so you can use the chart I made to score each covenant, based on what YOU prioritize in Shadowlands, so you can make the best choice for yourself…

  1. For the alliance mains n main alts:

100% Venythr: Arms Warrior, MM Hunter, Shadow Priest, Subt Rogue

100% Necrolord: Unholy DK*, Demon Lock*, Fire Mage*, Shaman, Paladin*

50% | 50% Venythr | Nercolord: DK*, Mage*, Lock*, Paladin*.

With the 50% 50% ones i m going to need to test them first; therefor im gonna use these classes on horde and the alliance to see how they will fit into my cup of tea. 😀

    For horde mains n alts:

    Kyrian: Paladin

    Necrolords: Fury Warrior

    Venythr: Blood/Frost DK

    Nightfae: Survival Hunter

just mainly for the campaigns from the horde side.

  2. They should've went with pure rpg choice of the covenants, you just get different story, transmog, abillity effects etc. At the moment I'm pretty calm, since for pvp and raiding I will need Ventyr, but what if it will be nerfed and for Raids I will need Kyrian, for PvP Night Fae, For M+ Necrolords? I mean, it just ruins gameplay. They either should make every covenant class ability equal in terms of power or just untie abilities from covenants/let us swap covenants. I mean, at this point – choosing covenant means choosing what you gonna do in Shadowlands, M+, Raids or PvP, and oh god I hope you'll be able to at least gear up for raids by doing only raids, and same for M+ and PvP, because if you'll need some gear from M+ for raids and vice versa – it will literally ruin gameplay to the point, where you feel that the game is broken.

  3. Night Fae is so much better than the other choices that I have to pick it. Best renown system, fastest travel system, garden providing huge number of expensive masts, built in sprint to solo old content, it goes on and on.

  4. I'm actually really chuffed that you put together a guide and suggestions that rely on me making my own choices for myself and with a trust that I am actually capable of thinking and choosing for myself! So many of the videos and guides out there are just reliant on a cookie-cutter mentality that takes away any player's ability to think or choose for themselves. Thank you. Liked, subscribed and also now going to have to glut the past content. LOL 😀

  5. I'm more for questing and professions, not much for raids and the like. My hubs and I quest together most of the time, do you know if you have to be in the same covenant to quest together? I'm stressed!! I just want to be able to kill things without dying all the time. Any ideas?

  6. I thought Taliesin & Evitel or Bellular or someone said that Blizz announced you'd get at least the base amour set for each Covenant just with the play-through before the choice? Maybe I'm just wishing that was the case to help ease people into a choice.

  7. Great video, very easy to listen to and follow! Excellent spreadsheet and I think everybody would feel better about themselves if they used this to help them decide on each character rather than stressing and thinking about all the negatives of the system.

As long as the raids and dungeons are beatable regardless of covenant then we should all go with what feels right for us on each of our characters 👌

Gained yourself a subscriber here! Looking forward to more 😊

  8. The majority are going to just go with "Best for Class Meta" and then change as Blizz nerfs/buffs the borrowed powers. The minority are going to go with the cosmetic / character RP reasons. Crazy people will have an armor type per covenant. Cloth, Leather, Mail, Plate for each totaling 16 Alts. to get all cosmetics.

  9. Roll a dice, thats it. Blizz may buff and nerf covs along the way so F you and your choise. Late expac they will rip the cord and they will have a shitty end expac again.
Ignore feed back on next Expansion after SL and repeat.

  10. I went to my therapist the other day.
I told him I have a lot of anxiety recently and I could use some help.
He asked what was causing the anxiety.
I told him it's the covenant choice.
He said he feels the same way.
    We both cried.

  11. While my choice may change later I'm Planning Hunter (BM/Maybe MM), Mage (Frost?) and either DK or Druid (bal) and I've been going back and forth on covenants. Now aside from anxiety over the "wrong" covenant (probably a pointless worry), something else I've been unsure on is what do I do if I wanna quest with a friend but we're different covenants, will I have to pick the same one to quest with them? Or will it be more of a side thing that we can do together.

  12. I'm stuck between picking Night Fae for my main because I like that covenant theme best or Kyrian because it'll perform best as far as pvp and pve go. I main a mage and I hate the Night Fae ability. It has its use for arcane since you'll be in melee range for aoe, anyway, but what about for pvp? Am I supposed to just stand there and channel it while the enemy beats on me? It'd be a bit different if it made you immune to cc or gave an absorb shield, or something, but meh. If it had some survivability or something baked in for mage, I would most certainly go Night Fae. Since it doesn't, I'm having a really tough time between picking what I want for theme (Night Fae) and what will probably be the best ability for both pvp and pve (Kyrian). 🙁 Ughhhhhh
