  1. Sad that xal'atath just loses because the plot needed her to be stupid for a moment, every confrontation with her she was always 3 steps ahead, she can teleport anywhere in an instant, she can turn into intangible smoke, she can turn alleria's brain off with void whispers, she waves her hand and alleria's bow goes flying away , she dodges and arrow she didn't even see coming, but in the most important and crucial moment, she forgets how to do any of those things and then the VOID artifact that can eat up a giant arcane laser beam is broken by the VOID ENERGY ARROW. But of course the good guys won and got their moment, even khadgar is back. We finally have an interesting villain after like 4 years of boring plastic villains, but sadly xal'atath got the blizzard treatment and she's stupid now, I could even see a bit of sylvanas in her doing the classic signature blizzard villain *screams in frustration, says it's not over yet and teleports away*. It's so sad how you are forced into just cheering for the good guys every time, because its 100% guaranteed that nothing bad will happen to them, the villain will always lose in a stupid way and eveything will be alright in the end, shallow ass black and white narrative.

I'm happy for the people who enjoyed this cinematic, but I just can't, the supposedly powerful villain just forgets how to fight and loses so easily, their powerful artifact that is shown time and time again to absorb any kind of energy just gets destroyed by an attack of THE SAME ENERGY IT IS MADE OF and death is officially broken in warcraft narrative, because not only can you physically travel to the afterlife, any character can now get ressurected if the plot wants so, I will never be shocked seeing someone die in this story again. Butt messes me up the most is how FAST things are progressing, its too goddamn fast, anduin gets his light back, khadgar is back, xal'atath plans are ruined AND THE RAID HASN'T EVEN LAUNCHED yet

not to mention so many other things like xal'atath being able to empower the Ascended to become insane killing machines, we had trouble dealing with that one dude in a previous quest, imagine what an army of those rabid ascended could do? Oh yeah xal'atath just forgot she could do that too. What about the order of night? I feel like their story was very unfinished and poorly written, wish they expanded more on it. Why doesn't the final campaign quest of this patch ties into the raid? we just beat xal'atath at the priory and thats it, I wish something happened that directed us to the raid, maybe the dark heart being broken creates a portal that sucks us there and we chase Xal'atath into the nerub'ar palace or something, to tie into this too Ansurek barely appears in these quests, and she's the final boss of this tier, I wish the campaing quests or azj kahet quests showed more about xal'atath manipulating Ansurek, the queen appears to be messed up in the head right now but in the start all she wanted was to make their kingdom prosper again, xal'atath twisted that for her own ends. I wanted to see how xal'atath made the ascended and how her dark void alchemy works, how it all started, I'm scared that they will just drop the nerubians now and forget about them

I was excited in the beginning of this expansion but blizzard is starting to show signs of chronic blizzard writting illness again, it makes me worried about the future, I like xal'atath, I waited 10 years for a void expansion, I don't want this to be wasted

  2. Can't imagine Iridikron is going to happy that she let the Dark Heart get damaged. Granted I just want to see Iridikron and Xal'atath share a scene, I feel like he'd be a good foil for her BS.
