  1. Wait you talk about the mouse bindings separately than keyboard. Is there a way I can make it so that a mouse button 1 is different than the keyboard? Because it registers it as 1 regardless if I use mouse or keyboard.

  2. esdf and mousewheel for as a keybind literally changed my gaming life this year, since i saw your video. Still struggle a bit with mouse whell cause it's so related to zoom in my reptile brain, and i like the zoom even if it is sub optimal. not using wasd for a while was weird, but then all i i had to do to fix it in my muscle memory was literally nudge the keyboard a bit to the left lol

Edit: Also, SHIFT+W felt like a personal attack 🤣

  3. Thank you for your videos, your first statement, "as you level you through skills down" was me. Played since vanilla and today first time I have overhauled my UI and settings/bindings. Thanks for your hard work and efforts. Keep it up

  4. I haven't played WoW since 2013, the last expansion I bought was Mists of Pandaria. Back then, I couldn't justify paying 15$ a month. I still can't, generally speaking 😆, but I'm really wanting to get back into WoW and I might just buy Dragonflight for my bday. I'm currently playing on the Starter Edition and enjoying it. This video is very helpful as it's a nice refresher. So many new ideas as well. Thanks for this.

  5. Just got back into WoW and found your channel. Your passion for keybinds is contagious lol. I'm wanting to explore keybinds more and your videos have been helpful as I've never really used them before outside of 1 – 6

  6. Have you thought about doing an expert keybind guide or expert guides on other subjects.? The guide above is more for beginners or intermediate players. I'm talking about a a video to highlight ways to take an intermediate players to an expert / aficionado level that show what is necessary for Gladiator or Server first Mythic Raiding. You've probably noticed that some players had zero to next to no coaching on how to do expert concepts that are mandatory in the most difficult areas of the game. As a result they have made a best guess by making foundations with dirt instead of concrete and therefore crippled their ability to build their abilities to the sky. Concepts that I'd like to see in an expert video (I might end up making my own); A: Combining modifier keys to make separate modifier functions (Shift+Ctrl+E, Shift+Alt+E, Alt+Ctrl+E, Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E) so that they would never have to say "I don't have enough keybinds" ever again. B: Mouseover macros for allies and enemies without losing your current target. C: Being able to see enemy cast bars despite not targeting them. D: Utilizing focus functions like interupt focus, charge focus. Combining A-D you you could quickly interrupt three different enemies without ever having to switch targets. E. Using a gamepad (Tartarus v2, Orbweaver, Logitech G13, Hori Tac Pro, Azeron Classic) that has a dedicated stick to control all movement as having your strongest digit (thumb) using only one giant button (space bar) is logically a massive waste for the same reason that having a mouse where you thumb presses no buttons is a massive waste. Also keymap SHIFT, ALT, CTRL to the homerow (movement is thumbstick) would make it very easy to combine modifiers together thus making having many many kebyinds easy. The hardest part would be building the muscle memory, not reaching for 7 with index or Alt with your thumb. Holding the 'target next enemy' keybind (TAB by default) combined with mouse turning to quickly target an enemy target in the middle of a cluster of enemies, where using your slow mouse click is too slow for the same reason clicking spell icons is too slow. G. Learn to have a self critical attitude instead as they are in a position to notice their own mistakes when they happen more than everyone else combined, fix them by the 2nd attempt, learn from them by tomorrow and sometimes redesign their approach method to have a superior approach next week H. Above all else be self-motivated to do MOAR than you did the pervious attempt. Becoming content & stagnant with how well you're doing should be a MMO-sin and is the equivlent of nailing your feet to the learning cliff you're scaling. "CAN'T" and IMPOSSIBLE" are now unspeakable words to be replaced with "TRY" and "HAVEN'T FOUND A WAY YET". /End Great Wall of Text.

  7. I'm really diggin your approach..I have some of this already in place but this is helping me pull it all together. If only you played a Rogue…jesus, so many things: finishers, control, utility not to mention stance.

  8. Best video for keybinds i have seen so far. Was looking for esdf to convert over to the master race.
What are you using for auto-run? I have it on middle mouse button atm. Any recommendations?

  9. In regards to keybinding your mount. I've found SHIFT-Spacebar works very nicely, however, it can be annoying to change mounts when going from old content to Dragonflight, so I figured out you can just favorite a single DF mount and a single legacy mount and using Summon Random Mount. It will automatically pick the mount that works in the expansion you're in.

  10. Just a quick question, if you have a naga style 12 button mouse, would it just be easier, just as fast, and less complicated to do 1-12, shift 1-12, alt 1-12, alt ctrl 1-12. Some of these things i like for example, mouse wheel for mobility/charges

  11. Good guide only hard part is when swapping to a druid shifting is far better on the mouse wheel. For example. Mouse up is charge mouse down is always an execute of some kind. Shift up is cat shift down bear. Alt up is travel alt down is moonboy. Which stances are normally ctrl 1-6 for me i have 64 keybinds in total but that is mainly due to playing wrath. Much more abilites

  12. Yeah. 26 talents/abilities.
15 in the old days I could manage. That’s how many I used in Wrath when Death Knights were all over the place. There were only fifteen as well. That was it. I wasn’t missing anything. Three of those were very long cooldowns.
Now that number has almost doubled for the same spec in the same class.
My old arthritic fingers don’t have the nimbleness and reach for 26 talents or abilities.
Back to WotLK in Classic for me.

  13. A bit late to the party but thank you so much!! I have a 12 key mouse so no thank you on the ESDF, I just can’t switch from WASD. However, the bindings on WASD format combined with your mouse suggestions make everything feel WAY more snappy!
