  1. Sorry to hear that, glad it's not your main. I Ran into you the other day in IF, and sadly I too since died. Bad luck comes in pairs. Blasted lands, I have an unhealthy habit of seeing which terrain can I scale and behind which invisible wall can I explore. But that's why you always start a new character as soon as you hit 60, to have as little downtime as possible.
Oh and of course, RIP BOZO /s

  2. If the server/instance was down for a minute, it wouldn't calculate the damage that the NPC did to your character either. Meaning this was likely a lag on your client/Internet part, and it's kind of philosophical – every HC character is always moving towards its grave unless they are in a group 24/7, because once you lag for 20-30 seconds, it usually is enough to kill you in any game setup.

I remember lagging like that once on my priest while I was preparing to fight a +3 level mob. I had to live through the lag, then DC, and then an unusually long reconnect. When I logged in I found that my character pulled the mob and was on like 3% hp. I instantly shielded and potted and miraculously lived. What saved me was that I always anticipated a situation like this and I cast shield on myself whenever I run near mobs, just in case. What really saved me though was the choice to put points into the stamina buff talent which made it 30% more efficient and gave me those 3% that I saw on log in. No talent = back to Brill.

Btw there's also a thing called desync. It's a specific type of lag that causes your client to have a state of the game that is incompatible with the actual game state, and so the server, being unable to force the client to play within the boundaries of its valid data, shuts the connection off. Theoretically it can happen because both bad Internet but also because of game bugs (the code leads the client to "misunerstand" the server in certain situations). Like the Rumsey Rum DCing its users in STV for example. But if you had a long reconnect time it still indicates to an Internet issue rather than a game bug desync.

  3. Lost my HC farming mage in ZG. Was farming 10 pack crocs the usual stuff u know. 5 sec lag, im DCed, log back and im dead. (my second acc reset character in SW was still there so no DC for him wich makes me think it wasnt my ISP fault)
The saddest thing it was only my second day of farming, and it is a complicated farm, and i did everything right and good, still fail to a random server lag
Never touch this shit agane 🙂

  4. I really enjoy your video.

There are many wow streamers/youtubers out there who are not very good with talking to the camera.

But you have a very good approach on screen. You give us good information in a short period of time. Your voice is calm and collected.

I need to sub on you.

  5. Did you know if you miss the jump in ZF, you can evade near the two rock debris in the ground? You won’t drop combat because they’ll always have you in sight, but you can just stay there until your hearth is on cd and hearth out.
