  1. The reason it didn't do well is nobody wanted to play concord because it was buy to play. if it went f2p at launch it would have a few 1000 players play it. Shame since apparently almost all reviews said it's not a bad game. it's just boring and generic. why play that when you got overwatch? marvel rivals soon? paladins?

  2. Just to correct your comment on Icefrog. He took over DoTA (The Wacraft 3 Mod) from Guinsoo. Then went on to make the Valve DoTA Stand-alone game. Guinsoo went on to help found Riot Games (And League of Legends prior to the Stand-alone Icefrog DoTa game)

Far as Deadlock it's very similar to a game way ahead of it's time. Super Monday Night Combat, sadly the playerbase was too small for the matchmaking and the game died due to terrible matchmaking/low player count. Though, the Item Store in Deadlock is definitely pretty advanced in comparison.

  3. That guy talking about the hurlock is just wrong. A hurlock is a human. They were never specifically dwarves, they were human looking in every game. He's thinking of a genlock

  4. Not sure why Cohh would have canceled his sid miers beyodn earth sponsored mid sponsor. I mean he wasn't even a bad game. it was like a 6-7 out of 10. I mean yet bro will get paid to play dogshit like Concord. lol

  5. If Cohh would have actually played Rise on PC I can tell you that Rise looks 10000x better then worlds on ps5. Rise with 1440p + max settings. chefs kiss. Not sure what worlds looks like on PC since I don't own it on PC. but on PC rise makes world on ps4 looks like shit. and worlds on PS4/5 were still really good looking.

  6. World was the game that mainstream really got introduced to. Wilds will be good, but I dont think itll see the same success simply because it's monster hunter and theres never that much difference between titles.

  7. Also in Monster Hunter Wilds, when you go out and find different ingredients for food (which MH is known to have a lot of them) you in typical MH fashion can create your own custom meal by choosing different ingredients for specific buffs you want. Except how in previous MH games for your custom food platter, you could choose fish, herbs, and crab or veggies, spices, and tomatoes, but you'd get the same food animation every time. It's like, I chose a bunch of veggies and here the game is showing me a giant roasted chicken with shrimp and steak shish kabobs.

But now in Wilds you choose 3 ingredients and based on your ingredients, the cooking animations and end result meal will actually reflect that.

I'm realizing that this has the "you can pick up the traps!" type of energy but honestly it's all about the huge amount of QoL and details this game has. It's everywhere. It's hard to just find one big thing about this game. It's more like it has hundreds of small QoL/details that when looked at as a whole, really showcase how ambitious this game is. You really just have to see a hunt play out for yourself. Or else you just end up sounding crazy like JP and I trying to explain what they saw, saying shit like "the squirrels scatter!" You really just have to see it all happen cohesively.

  8. Imagine seriously describing Woke Overwatch but from Wish as 'being full of Humanity and Depth" and then trying to explain to the internet on how they're wrong for not wanting to play your game like we owe them our time and money. The weird hyper levels of entitlement I see coming from Twitter make me very happy I never made an account.

  9. I think Monster Hunter Rise is better than World to be honest. The complex maps of World were cool for the first few hunts of an area, but over time, they just became annoying. I much prefer how much faster Rise let you get into combat. I still like World though.

Also even if I didn't prefer Rise, I'm tired of people acting like it's some downgraded, awful looking game. It looks good on pc.

  10. Concord is just sad, really best way to describe that game. The devs, programmers, and designer's aren't at fault. Just the ppl in charge and Sony leadership should have seen the writing on the wall.

40 bucks for a hero shooter is rough..and trying to convince any friends would be hard too
