One new zone, one raid. No dungeons? Will this zone be as big as Argus? Because if it's Korthia sized, that would be…sad. Also, I really, really hope there are actual PUZZLES that give you a sense of accomplishment. (Even if you need to wait for someone else to put the solutions up!) Korthia did not live up to "City of Mysteries" because… no city, no mystery. I had been hoping for a metropolitan region with crowded buildings and mazes and a bunch of shady characters we need to sort out. And although I kinda like Korthia, it is very small for a patch feature.

my verdict: new zone looks nice, and the "translate runes"(aka. new timelocked feature) looks interesting. Aside from that we got:
more solo content to farm (expected)
no new social-gameplay improvements (as expected…).
Will 9.2 bring me back to WoW? (if I would be able to stay away from all spoilers, youtube content and discord until 9.2 is out.. probably) But will i really shut myself off from all the WoW-news that I am used to consume on a daily basis? (probably no). So it is possible I will not come back for 9.2… because by the time it comes out we will already know almost all there is to know. And I can't really get exited about something I've already seen weeks prior.
Having another daily rep grind is not a new system but it's also not something that should be important for character power.
I truly feel that at this point, people are not going to be happy with anything. They have already decided that WOW can't do anything right and just want to keep complaining. When all you do is complain, people stop listening to you.
Remember when they said that they would release all the systems in the first iteration of the expansion and not add systems after that.
Nice commentary on 9.2 It looks a mix of several zones. Like argus, and so on. an 11 boss raid? how many bosses in the big BFA one? Looks good on paper, so far.
So flying spiders implies flying in new zone? That would make me happy dance, final evidence blizzard changing their no flying carp

Blizzard stop creating new systems most people hate them. N’en t new system they introduce is time to quit. Pretty certain many more people will, and then Blizzard might get the message, but way too late.
but they did show Sylvannas. Look again at the picture of Jaina and Uther and their group. Blue-eyed Sylvannas is standing there with no armor on at all on the far right.
Personally I don’t mind systems at all or player power in systems, but I don’t like them being so restrictive. I don’t want them to go back Classic design though or TBC game is so boring then, but systems can’t be too much in 10.0 if they have them. Wrath, Mop, and Legion have been my fav expansions, so wouldn’t mind getting one on par with them.

it looks like Eden if Eden was made by Bungie, and i love how it looks, i am so ready to finish this expansion with a bang, of course i'll have to wait, but i got plenty of characters to play catch up with, so i'll not be bored. i intend to collect every one of those class sets, whether that is done DURING or after Shadowlands remains to be seen.
"No new systems blizz! We don't want new systems! I'm not coming back for new systems!" So, what are you coming back for? "Can't do another grind Blizz. Won't come back until 10.0." Cool, what do you expect to do? I don't get it. Any MMO you go to? There are systems. Any MMO you go to? There's a grind. It's what an MMO is. A grind. WoW has been a Grind since 1.0. It's a different grind now then it was then, but making 10.0 anything like 1.0 is just going to have people bitching there isn't enough things to do! Blizzard has taken dailies away before, in WoD. What happened? People screamed and cried there was nothing to do. Brought World Quests into Legion, people celebrated. Now? NO MORE WQS WE DONT WANT A GRIND. Then what? Just dungeons and raids? They're still a grind. Still something you do over and over ago to get something out of it. You will NEVER escape the grind. And if you don't add new systems? The game never changes, it remains the same. People will complain about this too. People just want to be angry. People are tired of WoW. Listen to Yoshi P of Final Fantasy. Tired of a game? Stop fucking playing it. Do something else. Come back later. Hating WoW is the new Internet Circle Jerk Meme. Don't like it? Don't fucking play it. Ignore it and spend your money elsewhere.

These don’t feel like class sets to me. The idea of a class set is to evoke class fantasy and a strong, identifiable class silhouette. And these new sets fail at both things. These sets just look like generic Shadowlands crap.
Yeah we've never seen anything float before… I guess they never played the burning crusade.
The problem will be now is if these systems appear in the ptr and they mess up the implementation (highly likely) and the community called out how its a broken state. They need to listen change it and fix it before live.
The WoW team has been continually using their artists and art department as their shields as of late. You have this and you have them justifying all those nonsensical changes by having this art leaders step forward and claim it was all their idea. We really HAVE to allow them to hang themselves but I know your a one game Andy so it's hard for you to do so.
Danuser is truly the worst thing that has ever happen to WoW, the art team is breaking their back trying to carry his trash fanfiction. Systems come and go, but people remember the themes, the zones, the big bads of the expansions and so on, Danuser managed to ruin that, I knew he was absolutely incompetent, but seeing that video, I didnt know it is possible for a human being to be this out of touch and clueless.

im going to sit 9.2 out its going to be worse then 8.3 was.broken class balance,broken covenant abilities,tier sets and now two legendaries covenant and class…..ill wait for pre patch…lol.
