I'm currently suffering through all 4 covenant all 4 armor types all 4 covenant activities and even with Sanctum Superior, the grind feels endless, but the sets and weapons look too nice to not try. Anima farming is possibly the worst grind I've experienced in WoW
this is such good timing. I'm going back to try and get an item for the unity set from Maldraxxus. Needing to upgrade the abomination factory is gonna be like 43K anima.

If you are after anima for something that is not related to building the special buildings for the covenants. IMO, i can recommend just doing the story skip to the point whereby you unlock torghast, then just spam torghast layer 12. Easiest/fastest would likely be the Upper Reaches Wing. At TWW level/items, everything dies in a hit or 2. This method would require the adamant vaults upgrade unlocked in your Box of Many Things as the anima reward comes from killing the last boss in adamant vault. Clear all 5 levels, get flawless, enter adamant vaults, and you can then try to skip everything and just kill the last boss for the 2 vault levels. The final boss in vaults drops anima tokens. Rinse and repeat. Prolly takes max 10-15 mins to do 1 full run (5 torghast levels + 2 adamant). I cant remember the exact amount of anima you get from this as i did this a long time back, but i think its about 600-700 anima. Only thing stopping you is your boredom XD
