  1. I think most people that didn't like the warcraft movie were the warcraft universe fans since it didn't follow the story of the game/books

I personally despite being a fan of the warcraft universe, i didn't mind the movie, yes i was like "wait, that's not what happened" but i still liked it

  2. Oh yeah, the WoW cinematics, literally the best part of the game and by far, especially nowadays…. but leaving that aside yeah, beautiful audiovisual pieces that never get old.☺

  3. Writings has become lazy on good and bad guys in Wow. Done well there isn't any, lately due to hacks it's the horde. Sylvanas (shadow lady) is bad but did inspire the people.
Movie does a good job showing that the horde has a pride that can be stirred since they are a group of people frequently persecuted (again, seen better during times of better writing).

Golden boy there is Anduin Wrynn. Very young man thrust into being king when his dad died too soon fighting demons. He is a diplomat and priest by nature and is very much forcing it to be a warlord. The mass heal/rez at the end is much more his thing. This war horrifies him, as you may see if you watch the later ones.

I am a hordie and will still say Anduin is a good kid who wants peace that has been beat down his entire life for that belief. I hope things get better for him (they continue to get worse in the story)

  4. hey, the world of warcraft cinematics are great, the but the BFA ones in particular stand out for quality and the storytelling as they go. This was actually number 2 of ummm maybe 5 part series for that expansion. Although theres a bit of a time jump in some of it, they're definitely best watched all together

  5. This is a fight between the Alliance and the Horde. Technically, neither of them are good or evil. The Alliance is a pinnacle of culture and civilization, whereas the Horde tend to be more barbaric. The two factions are constantly at war, for land and because there's just too much history of hatred between certain races on each side. Cooler heads on both sides have tried to achieve peace for decades, but it never seems to last long.

However, the current warchief of the Horde, Sylvanus, could be said to be genuinely evil on a personal level. Sylvanus is a banshee (a kind of undead elf). She's the one that's kicking ass in this cinematic.

  6. Context for the cinematic trailer: Screamy archer lady had just finished burning a giant tree full of civilians down to the ground. The Alliance retaliated by attacking her kingdom.

The Warcraft movie was a good fantasy movie. What it wasn't was a good adaptation of the source material. The reason why it got slaughtered in the reviews is bc it didn't stay close enough to the game events it portrayed. Similarly to how the Halo TV show is a shitshow bc the show runners didn't give a shit about the source material.

  7. There are many many many warcraft cinematics and every single one of them is worth watching. It will take you a very long time to go through all of them if you did a single video for all of them lol. I highly recommend the Cataclysm Cinematic Trailer and the Wrath of the Lich King Cinematic Trailer, they are both 10/10 give you chills every time you watch. Also some other good ones are the Warlords of Draenor Cinematic and the Shadowlands Cinematic.

  8. I feel like you would love to do a video of all World of Warcraft CG cinematic in order. It will be a journey even if you don’t know the underlying story. Because that latest cinematic one will hit soooo good!

  9. I enjoyed the Warcraft movie!

A lot of people have issue with it not cause it’s a bad movie on its own, but because it butchered the lore of Warcraft. Changed the story people have known and loved for years.

WoW cinematic wise… the cinematic trailers in order?
The “high quality” ones (and if your curious when these cinematics released)

    World of Warcraft (2004)
    WoW: The Burning Crusade (2006)
WoW: Wrath of the Lich King (2008)
    WoW: Cataclysm (2010)
    WoW: Mists of Pandaria (2012)
    WoW: Warlords of Draenor (2014)
    WoW: Legion (2016)
    WoW: Battle for Azeroth (2018)
    WoW: BfA: Old Soldier
    WoW: BfA: Lost Honor
    WoW: BfA: Safe Haven
    WoW: BfA: Reckoning
    WoW: Shadowlands (2020)
    WoW: SL: Beyond the Veil
    WoW: Dragonflight (2022)
