Hello everyone! Welcome to third episode of Mistweaver Academy. In this episode you will learn everything there is to your fistweaving raiding spec.

I forgot to talk about one of the trinkets, it drops from Hungering Devourer and it grants leech to ally which you heal after using dpsing ability. Obvious interaction but bear in mind it will not count as your healing 😛

  1. I was looking forward for this. I like that you put more depth in this guide rather than being a entry general info video. I want to ask somethings since i fistweave since the beggining of this expansion. Do you interupt the essence font cast to heal with the dmg from your melee? Do you spam enve mists when you summon yulon? Whats your average dps? Thank you

  2. Spirit of the Crane isn't worth taking ever, the amount of GCDs it costs to equate to the same mana saved as Mana Tea isn't worth it, a large number of your GCDs need to be TP/BoK to justify grabbing it, plus Mana Tea ties into our Yu'lon/Chi-Ji windows really nicely

  3. Hey man, this video literally made me want to start playing mist weaver monk, all your videos are so constructive. Maybe i can pick your brains on the spec sometime after I've maxed my character.

  4. Great to see some constructive videos on MW in Shadowlands. I thoroughly enjoy the spec but there's not much Shadowlands content available for MW PVE on YouTube so its refreshing to find a new channel. Keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing your M+ video.

  5. You say you recommend using "actual" blackout kicks as often as possible because they have a chance to reset the CD of rising sun kick. I was under the impression that when you charge teachings of the monastery with tiger palms, the additional kicks when you blackout kick are actual blackout kicks. They aren't fake. Each of them has a chance to reset the CD of rising sun kick. And if we are running spirit of the crane, we need tiger palms to get mana back. I'm confused…

  6. Love the guide. I'm looking at your what I presume are Weakauras and I'm really interessed in them. Could you possibly share your Weakauras with us? They look really clean and organised 🙂

  7. Hey. Could you show how you got your numbers for mana tea? In the mistweaver community its pretty accepted that the average mana saved is actually between 13-16% mana nearly double your numbers.
Also spirit of the crane isn't per black out kick. Its per Teaching of the monastery stack consumed so it takes 2 gcds to get any mana back meaning 15 black out kicks is more like 15 tiger palms and 15 black out kicks.

  8. Really useful vids. Btw u sure 15% haste seal the deal? I find haste rly usefull, it reduce CD on sun kick and make rotation much more smooth I think I'd go for like 28/30% or u think it's a waste?

  9. So question about Mistweaving. so why does my "predicted damage" (when you hover over ability) states my RSK should give 6.3K damage, but only does consistently half of that. While in any other spec (bm, or ww) It predicts a number and my damage is consistent with the predicted number? (and this isn't factoring in if crit'ed)
