I struggle a lot in deciding between frost and unholy because death's embrace is just such a good legendary swap in key situations. With Unholy I can just spec into spell eater and do a simple swap to death's embrace if I see moonkins, mages or rets, and it's such a huge deterrent in a team fight. I'm often allowed to just do whatever I want and people simply run away from me instead of even trying to cast anything. And you could always swap back into monstrosity when the situation calls for it before a major fight and be able to do big pressure. The problem with frost often in BG is you simply get shut down, and even though the initial setup is strong, your usefulness is very sparse and rely heavily on pillar to be able to do any sort of pressure, and you have much worse survivability without the massive heal and deterrent from death's embrace so everyone just focus you. So yes, on paper and in some situation frost is amazing, but I think with the meta evolving more into sustained pressure, unholy will end up feeling much more useful in BG.
