Seems like you definitely need to pair up with another overtuned class/spec, but it seems like everyone is either abusing the classes or working with them.
What i love about frost dk is how scary it can be in a blink of an eye. I feel like the rush capability makes up for some short comings because rushing an opponent, especially 1v1 can throw even the best pvp'er off. Making them panic and hit buttons and punishing them for it reminds me alot of fighting games. I seriously hate how the general playerbase just goes off of meta data and graphs, they are obv useful but so many things change in diff peoples hands and in real world scenarios
I saw some videos and gave it a try… Oh boy I never been nuked this hard, had to switch back to unholy because frost was felt like nothing and hit so low with 187 ilvl 60% mastery. I guess with a good teammate it can work but then even blood dk can work with a good teammate.
I met a really cool dude in game, hes a WW monk. Me and the guy are both new to retail 2v2's (im an oldschool bc guy)…. do you think thats a good team to begin our foray into the arena with? The guys really nice and i like his attitude so if this is a good team id love to practice and git gud with the dude
