HANZO MAIN? GROSS
MUD
i hate watching madseason becasue it reminds me how much i hate wow and the way its gone but im still subscribed.
well some itens are expensive but has nothing that affect ilv of character
Microtransactions are the reason we get content as fast as we do now. Without them we'd still be at one patch what ever months? Big patch ever 6 months? I agree if it ever gets to buy gear off the shop, that will be a bridge too far, but he rest of the time. either buy it or don't. And don't hate on people that use spend their own money how they wish.
What some dont remember is Fortnite was a failure at release. It had to be rereleased and it became what we have now. It does fall into the same level as ff14 in terms of failure at release then success after rebuild and rerelease.
yes it has , so i just play return of reckoning (better ugly and fun than otherwise)
the game shop is on fire…
Literally the same thing that happening with Palworld and Pokemon lol
People that buy carries helps motivate top players to continue playing. No one thinks people that bought carries are cool; peep their logs.
Or just play your own game
Todays wow is sure still a passion projekt for those that love doing what They do, buuuut its more a passion to pay big CEO people billions. Thats the fact
I do chuckle at some of these videos about micro transactions when the YouTubers are doing exactly that with offering exclusive content or early access behind paetron pay walls.
"Oh but it's not the same, you don't gain an advantage " I hear you all cry.
Yes.
Yes you do. If it's a game guide video then you get to see it before "No pay Joe" and can then complete that task quicker and with less difficulty than someone who doesn't pay.
yes . i finally unsubscribed from wow after 20 years of staying. the 90 dollar mount was my final wake up slap
has the game been killed by completely voluntary purchases ??? no…….
My first Micro transaction experience was EA NHL 09/10 where you could buy packs of cards with real money and really low pull rates. It was disgusting. I knew the gaming industry would evolve into it from there.
no way , they put stuff in the game where you can buy it with the "in game gold currency" ? , since you guys lack common sense you can transfer n game gold to blizzard balance , i spent so much in game money to buy 3 expac and subs and bought like 3 shop mounts , if i can do it , why can't people do it too ? i know why , its because wow players are toddlers , they have this toxic rs with blizzard , if they do anything to the game , you'll see people making videos about "wow is dying cause of the ah mount ?🤓" , get a grip.
That text based game wasnt at all a choose your own adventure game. It was a proper mmo just like wow, but rather than using WASD to move, you hit "N <enter> E <enter> etc to move from room to room and the rooms all had descriptions you could hide things and search them out in the rooms. Pick pocket other players, real time combat but you had to type things like /entangle <name> to cast entangle rather than hitting a button. There were areas like The Fungal Forest, The Black Temple, the Slums, caves, spider infested woods, etc. There were unique items that dropped from bosses in different areas that players hunted each other to get them. There were a dozen or so races and classes. It was legit as good as wow at the time. Text based makes it sound lame, but like reading a book, when it's well written and you have to conjure that shit in your imagination, bro, it was soooo great. It's time has come and gone, but it was as good and as addictive as wow. The PVP was a lot more intense though because you have 9 lives, and if you lose your last life you got rerolled, you gained 3 lives per level when you level and when you die, all your gear drops to the floor and anyone in the room can loot it. There were only a handful of safe rooms like the banks, the rest of the time, you had to watch your ass cuz ganking happened a lot. It was called Major MUD, MUD being an acronym for Multi User Dungeon, which at the time was the same thing as an mmo now.

Those are the buildings blocks of failure to any company.
He makes it seem like the developers doesent have a say in their game being moneytized to death. But in reality its the very same devs. who opted to sell their studio/IP to the big corporations in the first place…for a big greedy payout….
nope, wow does not have any pay to win transactions, it's all cosmetic (aside from maybe buying a token which is fine).. thats fine if games want to sell cosmetics cause people are weird and actually buy that crap… if you don't want to spend money, don't do it.. simple.. also wow is very much alive and kicking still after 20 years
jesus…look, all the whining in the world is not going to stop it. lots of this reeks of people suffering from special snowflake syndrome….they want to have stuff others cannot and feel special. Its a video game. only way this starts to affect game play is if they are selling gear with stats over what you can earn in game.
Outside of that, it must be unpopular to create a video about it but money talks and BS walks….game companies like all companies deal in capitalism and find other revenue streams, why many streamers do the "buy my merch!" garbage while making money from ad revenue. This is simply how the game is played. The fact companies make a fortune on microtransactions shows that no company will pull back from it as nobody is leaving over it and they make record revenue.
Want to rebel? don't buy it, you do you and know and feel good inside that you fought the man. OR buy it and you do you with your money. the topic is so burnt out and cringe. Until they see no sales and people leaving, nobody will do anything about it.
I would think anyone with money spends every day in court. They might be trying to stay in business.
ur so cute tf
