I recently did this quest for Loremaster and God the feels were real. I knew how it would end but I really wished every attempt would somehow save him. Rip Bradford, your memory will live on. 🥺
knowing how much the devs loved putting in easter-egg quests and npc names, i had a feeling this npc may have been someone personal to one of them after doing the quest =;(. RIP Bradford
The story goes that Chris Metzen heard his story and personally headed up the process of putting him into the game. He gave Robert Bridenbacker a choice to make his brother into a core part of the Wrath storyline or to give him an epic questline, Robert chose the questline and they went to work creating this questline bringing players to the Emerald Dream, Alexstraza and Ad'al, the most "godly" healing beings in the 3 expansions up to that point to try and save him mirroring the real life attempts to save him with various doctors and countries. He was 36 at the time of his death.
This quest…😢
i did that quest like 80 times and always thinking „why? Whos that“ now i know, and i know i did it like 80 times right…

We need a brawlers guild again.
That tribute is kind of cool and the fact that he gets phased out adds to it
And since then. Blizz would add some more NPCs in honor of others as well
R.i.p Bradford. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I played it live, made me tear up. His body lay there for a long, long time.

I did not know this!!! Sad.
I'm going to do the quest tonight if I haven't already. Pay tribute.
Rest in peace brother
I remember doing that quest line. One of my favorite ones.
