  1. Great work. I've been waiting for guides like this to be sure about my decisions. Since we are taking Kyrian as our covenant (for obvious reasons), there is one thing to point out. Our steward now sells Ethereal Pomegranate which is really handy. I loved everything, although I would use Beacon of Virtue early on M+ progression since it could be really a life safer with Divine toll, at least until everyone is familiar with the new dungeons, including myself. =D

  2. Hey! I've been playing holy since last patch, now it will be my first full expa with them as a main, i agree on a lot of things, while in others i would go further into options, especially talents. On the second row while Judgment of light is the highest hps of that row, Prism isn't a bad option either, its true that is less hps, but gives great dmg for a filler ability, making it a pretty good choice when you have a low dps group who suffers from trash, or a little heal when you are facing the last mob of a pack. Blinding Light is the best option when you are overwhelm by trash, but if u cant kill them, you kill be dead anyways, making Fist of Justice a good choice too, when utility matters. Personally I prefer Rule of Law, is awesome when u have teammates who wont be close to you, like a caster comp, increasing the heal to them while not losing dmg at the same time cause of you positioning, but Unbreakable Spirit help you a lot when you are kinda new to the spec or the dungeon its particulary hard cause it lets you and your teammates make more mistakes for free, which is always great. And for last, Holy Avenger will help you more to have control on your character, you will decide when you will make more dmg and heal, great ability but needs knowledge, so if you are new, try Divine Purpose it will give you that boost, but at the cost of being on a chance, so its not that reliable

Hope that help out you guys to play this spec in a way you enjoy or is more comfortable to you and remember, MANA WILL BE DEPLETED, so bring food with you

  3. I think your sleeping on BOV if you haven't tried it i would suggest trying it out. I know there only mythic 0s right now but I've had zero issues using it. Plus it helps if you worried about beacon management.

  4. @yumytv I saw your comment on beacon of virtue, but I'm thinking I might disagree, what do you think of this:

I just tested beacon of virtue over my last couple dungeons, and man, I quite like it I have to say. In heavy aoe damage in bfa situations, I could rely on my glimmers to keep my group alive (e.g. tantrum etc.), but I doubt that will work for pridefuls. Even if it does do a significant amount of overall healing, I've been thinking that it's too passive and doesn't do enough healing when it really matters. Beacon of virtue on the other hand is on a 15sec cd, and it even gives you holy power when casting flash of light or holy light, which synergizes well with infusion of light. It is a godsend when paired with kyrian toll, that is like 5 lay on hands if you heal that target without the beacon on it. Overall I've just found it makes for a much smoother and more reliable run where I am not struggling to have a CD leftover for every slightly sticky situation. I find myself pressing wings / HA / AM a lot less now than with the glimmer build, which gives me more options when we overpull or are otherwise faced with actual heavy incoming damage.

The biggest downside to this is obviously the lack of DPS provided by glimmer as well as the loss of a real beacon, which like you mentioned can be quite useful to put on weaker team members like mages at times, so not having that option does suck. Still, I find having that huge healing boost every 15sec is powerful, given how weak the holy paladin throughput is currently. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this.

  5. I play ret and will raid as ret. But group with friends as holy for torgahst and heroic/mythic dungeons, going to roll relentless Inquisitor as a duel leg (even though I have the sun well one too) 🙂

  6. The Mad Paragon Legendary adds 1 second to wings after using Hammer of Wrath. The Awakening talent gives your Word of Glory/Light of dawn a 15% chance to add 10 sec, which gives 1.5 second on average. Divine Purpose gives your Holy Shock spell a chance to not go on cool down. Crusader's Might can also reduce the Holy Shock cool down. Hammer of Wrath procs like crazy during wings. One thing that surprised me with this build is using WoG or LoD will occasionally auto pop Wings (with or without the legendary) while leaving the Wings CD still available. Haste (9% or more) + Mad Paragon legendary + Awakening + Divine Purpose + Crusaders Might = more than 70% Wings uptime while in combat.

  7. Avenging crusader has saved me and my group soooo many times. I would love an in depth decision between it and the alternatives. Its just really hard for me to put it down. Thanks!
